Yeppers. You are going to see some major foaming at mouth, gnashing of teeth, hair pulling, red faces, screaming, crying, threat making, book burning/banning, name calling, frowny faces, hurling of epithets, screeching, hair on fire, increase in the war on conservatives, and on and on and on.
And rush should meet those reactions by sending more books to the poor disadvantaged children. ;-)
I don’t know who the “Childrens Book Council “ is, but their website returns a 403 error.
I wonder if outraged leftists hacked and trashed their site?

Rush didn't live in Rio Linda, he lived in West Sac. The Rio Linda thing was an observation he frequently made that the really dense callers all seemed to be from Rio Linda.

I too remember “mega thumbs-up ditttos”. Once in a while I would
see Rush having lunch at the Buggy Whip on Fulton Av. Eventually,
he purchased a tract home in the North Natomas area from
Mark IV Dev. When I heard he was taking his show national I knew
he would own the airways and soon. Uncanny how you could think
some “blasphemous” conservative thought and in less than he is
giving a radio voice to those same opinions.

Blessings to Rush and his wife. They make a perfect team. Rush, you are on the right track...educate the children..you need to concentrate on this part of your continuing education of us all..you have the gift for writing, and effectively reaching the minds and hearts of the children. And now teachers are opening their minds to great teaching material when they read it, and your book is being exposed to children in classrooms, who know nothing about you or your book. The excitement of reading a interesting book is something I remember as a lover of history, beginning when I was in grade school. And it continues to this day. Keep it up Rush..you have the key to the lock that will open the minds of children and tell them the truth about our great country. GO RUSH GO AND CONGRATULATIONS!
Didn’t he say that he does donate books to schools, though I don’t know the particulars on this. Rush is a terrific businessman, and he has a good heart and a generous spirit. Does anyone know exactly what Rush said about the books that he donates?

Perhaps one day we will clean out all the leftist cockroaches in City Hall, and other places of power in the city. At least I'm grateful for the wonderful days during the 40s and 50s when I was growing up in the city.

Smugly satisfied that Rush’s entry into the children’s book market is causing outrage in leftist circles.
My problem with El Rushbo has been his refusal to admit that prescription drug abuse caused his deafness. He’s fed his fans a line for years; hard to listen to him these days. [And that’s overlooking his multiple marriages — none of their failures his fault?]
