Author Gary L. Harper of Louisiana says his father was the Zodiac killer.
Who was the infamous Zodiac killer?
The father of a man who is publishing a book out Tuesday, according to one account.
Gary L. Stewart, who runs a cleaning company in Louisiana, is claiming in his new book that his father was the elusive and "still-at-large" Northern California serial killer, according to reports.
In "The Most Dangerous Animal of All," Stewart lays out how he found out, following 12 years of research, that his father was the legendary murderer, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
The Zodiac killed at least five people in the late 1960s in Vallejo, Benicia, Lake Berryessa and San Francisco. But he's most famous for the cryptic and taunting letters he sent to Bay Area news media at the same time.
In Stewart's case, the true-crime revelation came quite by accident: he spent a decade searching for the identity of his biological father, and in so doing, discovered that his father was a killer, the book claims.

I think if you read The Black Dahlia Avenger and the other book by the same author.....that guy makes a compelling case that it was his dad who did it....not sure about this new book by this other guy.

The Zodiac Killer is a story that won't go away. Zodiac killed perhaps 10 persons at most. Terrible, yes. However, the much more prolific Zebra Killers who were operating at about the same time have been sent down the Memory Hole. Why? Well, supposedly they were all apprehended. However, that is a myth as there were a lot more Zebra murders than the press chooses to count. The Zebra Killers were extraordinarily vicious and bold and attacked all sorts and conditions of persons, including a leading member of the San Francisco Muslim community. Why the blackout, to use a pun. Why, because the Zebra Boys were all blackamoors and were tied up with the Black Muslims. They were also tied into a wide range of black on white murders in both the bay Area and Los Angeles. None of this was ever explored by the presstitutes because it was a politically incorrect crime wave.

I used to have long talks with Peter Noone when he was in Nashville visiting his daughter who was going to Belmont Univ. He stayed in the hotel I worked at every time he came to town.
He’s a very funny guy.

I’m still wondering what became of those ‘smiley face’ killings (or whatever they were called) killings around which some smiley face cartoon was left. It was only a few years ago but it seems to have gone down the memory hole.

Get a copy of Clark Howard's book ‘Zebra’, covers this outbreak of homicides pretty thoroughly. Another book you won't see mentioned in the lamestream press.
