RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina Congressional candidate Keith Crisco died suddenly at his home on Monday, WNCN confirmed.
MOREAdditional Links A woman at his company, Asheboro Elastics Corp. in Asheboro, confirmed that he died at his home Monday around 1 p.m. She said employees at the company were being told what had happened.
Crisco had faced Clay Aiken in a tense battle for the Democratic nomination in the 2nd Congressional District.
Dear God. God Bless him, his family and friends. This is just awful. I am sure we will hear something from the Aiken camp sometime this evening. Even though a Democrat, this is still horrible.
"Each year, one in every three adults age 65 and older falls. Falls can cause moderate to severe injuries, such as hip fractures and head traumas, and can increase the risk of early death. Fortunately, falls are a public health problem that is largely preventable. How big is the problem? One out of three older adults (those aged 65 or older) falls each year but less than half talk to their healthcare providers about it. Among older adults, falls are the leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injuries."
***Crisco*** Partially Hydrogenated?
I’m sure its not the first time Crisco has eased the way for Aiken.
Aiken’s office released this statement:
“I don’t know how I’m going be able to continue this campaign without Crisco.”
Bada-bing!
Beautiful!
Once in a lifetime, heart of the plate---and you were ready!
lol!
Well, Crisco is a slippery substance...................
maybe he was definistrated..............
Thank you, I’m here all week.
If hope you are not affiliated with the NFL or NBA in any way.
So is Aiken behind Ellmers?
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
“Im sure its not the first time Crisco has eased the way for Aiken.”
So is Aiken behind Ellmers?

I think that that is the only way Aiken would want it.
I am stunned and deeply saddened by Keith Criscos death, Aiken said on Monday.
He was a gentleman, a good and honorable man and an extraordinary public
servant. I was honored to know him.
Aiken added, I am suspending all campaign activities as we pray for his family
and friends.

Those guys play rough.
Does Aiken win by default?
This seems odd but lots of older folks die from falls at home. RIP
