There is a lot more to come on the Benghazi cover-up, and it could well lead to criminal charges for withholding subpoenaed evidence. Trey Gowdy, an experienced prosecutor who will head the House Select Committee, has gone on the record (on Greta van Susteren’s FNC program of the same name) as having more evidence of a cover-up.

The person who should worry most is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
For example, until now we have seen zero documentation to explain how Clinton out of the blue concocted the statement she issued on the evening of the attacks, which first raised the notion that the attacks came “as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.”
In all the material released by the administration to date, there are no notes, e-mails or drafts of Clinton’s Sept. 11, 2012 statement similar to the back-and forth e-mail chain released last year showing how the CIA talking points evolved during three days of inter-agency discussion.
And yet surely such documents exist. We know from the public record that Clinton was getting real-time information on the attacks.

The ones who have “thrown in the towel” are the Republicans, who have followed their spineless leaders like Boehner and have bent over and grabbed their ankles for their Democrat masters.
These “investigations” have been nothing more than circuses designed to impress conservatives. They are not supposed to produce results. If you really expect anything worthwhile to come from these hearings and what not, then you are a fool

That’s what I’ve been saying. This is all smoke and mirrors. The real question is what are they REALLY covering up? I believe it was gun running to Syrian muslim brotherhood. I believe it was our on government that started the attack.

I think it was on “Cashin In”; Juan Williams said this whole cover up investigation is because Hillary will run in 2016. (of course he was blaming republicans) Someone replied that was a good point, that Hillary probably had to cover it up because she will run in 2016. A shot of Juan’s expression and on to commercial break. LOL
Most of us knew this stuff already before the election in fact.

Oh absolutely...and Stevens was the point man. The administration always paints this rosy picture of him that’s far from the truth. After Libya was ripped apart Stevens started shipping weapons illegally to Syria, The Islamists loved him for that.....in order to oust Assad..... another one of those regime changes this administration is all about.

I think Obama and Hillary will have to form a circular firing squad to survive this. (They have plenty to use against each other, by now.)
Either he left her basically alone, free to form foreign policy herself, because of his sincere lack of interest in it, (beyond colluding nicely with the Muslim Brotherhood), or else he orchestrated everything and she was complicit in the light footprint/normalization/aka, “smart power” crap, the term she was the first to coin.
In any case she should have resisted by resigning. Now she has no hope of looking principled should she try to blame Obama.
This is about a failure of policy, not the diversionary video lie, that worries the administration. Ben Rhodes exposed in the email what their fear is. The video was a rabbit trail.
Surely Gowdy gets this point, but the buzz is still on the video, so I guess you pull one thread at a time, huh.?

The prospect of going to jail is probably the only thing that will keep Hillary from ruining. Go Trey Gowdy!!! This will make Watergate look like a Sunday School Picnic comparatively speaking.
Maybe. I’m looking forward to the Kerry hearings. Maybe that will be when the dam breaks.
