When I read things like ‘Indigenous Peoples Day’ I heave that little chunky piece of vomit that gets stuck in my throat. I think it’s called progressive.

There aren’t a lot of Italians in Minneapolis, I guess.

We are so close to bolting from this state.... *groan*
This isn’t the nail in the coffin, because it’s only Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch. The cattle rustling, Hopalong Harry Reid is out there attacking the Redskins. “Progressive” my eye! We’ve gone back to the 1800s.

If all these guilt-ridden white leftists in Minnesota really wanted to do something meaningful, they’d just go back to the European nations their ancestors came from.
But like all leftists, they don’t want to do anything really meaningful when hypocritical and meaningless gestures make them feel so good.

Political correctness runs amok once again. It is getting hard to recognize the USA.

Won’t this celebration of native born citizens be seen as ‘anti immigrant?’

"This would be a day to celebrate our survival as a culturally distinct people despite 500 years of disease, warfare, massacre, displacement and forced assimilation."Don't sell yourselves short. You also survived for thousands of years with the bow and drill as the pinnacle of your technological developments.

"Columbus Day renamed 'Indigenous Peoples Day' in Minneapolis" by white liberals
To: 11th_VA
I am okay with celebrating indigenous peoples. I have a few drops of indigenous blood myself. I am not okay with self-loathing Americans. Doing away with Columbus Day is just a slam against Americans of European descent and the planting of Western civilization here. I will own up to the troubles that caused for the natives here. I will not accept the implication that America is one big, long crime of the white man. Can we have an indigenous peoples day and a Columbus Day, or would that be too honest for leftist fascists?

That should be displaced by the Hopewell People Day.

I prefer to celebrate "Joyful Brutal Oppression and Happy Conquering Genocide of Native People" day.
It's my favorite holiday.

I've never cared for parades, but I would be willing to fly to Minneapolis to attend a rousing Columbus Day Parade.
Who wants the government involved anyhow? Let the good patriots up there find a way to make this day a spectacular celebration.
