The NBA can kiss my orange arse!! No more NBA games in my house!
How many of the players have committed felony crimes and still play in the NFL or NBA? This idiot is coached into stupid words by his wh*re in a freaking private conversation and they are outraged!!! What about the women these players have raped or the children left fatherless by their drunk driving or the men shot and killed by these thugs?? Where is the outrage for them??
NBA - GFY!!! NFL----you're next!

Everything he said, he said in private, presumably in the privacy of his own home or the equivilent.

It’s wpxhack Whitey, crush the Cracker & hit the Honkey time! They will attempt to get the rest of us eventually.

And the whore breaks the law, walks away and hits the $cumbag lotto.

Did Magic Johnson conspire with the whore to set Sterling up? He wants the team and is friends with the whore.

There must be a pretty big set of plusses to offset such big minuses as the NBA can wield against signers of such agreements!

Your analysis is a good bit more accurate than that of the mainstream media, which without even waiting to verify the authenticity of the recording, went totally viral.

That the Left has played the race card throughout the lifetimes of most of those now living, is a given. That they have come to this level of success in using it as a tool to stir up hysteria, and intimidate dissent, is the real story. (Note: Life & Politics In A Pavlovian Kennel.)

The real losers in this insanity are always the minority members, the Left claims to be protecting. Why? Because it induces many to not address their aptitudes, whatever they are, to build a better future; but rather to succumb to the Blame Game. In this instance it will not be the NBA players, getting paid serious money by the actual victim, here; the man whose privacy has been violated. They will continue to do just fine, as they have developed a compensable aptitude. Millions of unemployed youth, on the other hand, will succumb to the prevailing demagoguery.

This is the real evil here, but only a few will really appreciate, the mischief being performed.

Racist as defined by...? It’s not something I would have said but people were calling Cliven Bundy a racist last week when he clearly is not.

I get that there are rules of association. But what we’re dealing with here is a severe punishment through an illegal recording of a private conversation, evidently without due process. Sterling will sue and I’d say his chances aren’t terrible.

This is another excellent case that illustrates that one does not have to choose sides between morons. He is a scumbag AND the NBA is idiotic in fining and banning him over whatever the heck he said in some private phone call. The whole thing is a ridiculous circus.

I realize that a great many people are very angry about how the Left plays the race game. But the answer is not to counter with more of the same, from an opposite direction.

The Conservative answer should be to respect others for who they are; for what good they may do, even as we should condemn anyone who seeks to undermine basic American freedoms.

Free people are never equal in their achievements; because people are not equal. You never sat next to anyone who was your equal in any classroom--unless you have a twin or triplet, who sat beside you.

Collectivist/egalitarianism (Communism) is fundamentally a war on reality. We do not help wake people up by retaliatory egalitarianism. We need to focus on what is, even as we decry what is not.

I had never heard of Sterling until now. But then I don't follow basketball, just have observed how lacking the NBA is in diversity.

I didn't realize that the NBA had rules regarding private conversations in ones own home that specify what can or cannot be expressed. (If they do not have these rules, how can they punish Sterling?)

Why is the media so shocked about racists remarks? I have been hearing over and over again how racists we all are. And it's just not only MSNBC and the Democrats. The bozo Shaun Kenney of Virginia, allegedly a Republican, accused the GOP of being racist. If Sterling is racist, how come he has a black mistress, a black coach, mostly black players, and has received more than on NAACP award?

While everyone is just so shocked over his comments, I haven't heard attacks on him for committing adultery, of betraying his family.

I am not trying to defend Sterling for I find nothing admirable about him. I just do not feel he deserves all this media attention, most of which is boring repetition. There are much more important stories such as the IRS scandals and Eric Holder scandals..

Who is going to punish the NBA for covering for him for years?

Wow, you have been totally hornswaggled by the media. Paula Deen was a diehard Democrat whose biggest defender was Jesse Jackson, and the only lie about her was that her racism was a long time ago. Donald Sterling is a miserable SOB. Will you defend any horrible Democrat out there?

Comparing them to Brendan is an outrageous slander.

Jayzee is a minority owner of the Nets. He was spotted with a necklace that said “whites are evil”.

What’s an NBA?

It's a variation of ping-pong played with a larger ball & by freakishly tall persons in baggy shorts...

jimjohn, I do not care if you are a black guy.

I am not viewing this event through that lens, I am viewing it through a Maoist lens.

The public persecution and humiliation has been going on a long time, just more subtly than when Mao’s Red Guard first came into existence. But the template is the same...to fundamentally transform the country. Whether is shouts of racism, homophobia, war on women, a Christian business refusing to bake wedding cakes.... or the CEO of Mozilla being forced to resign over contributions to a political position.

Holy Smokes Batman, do we not see the history train heading into that long dark Winston Tunnel?

Yes, anyone over the age of 50 has heard a lot worse spew forth from the mouths of racists. But they needed someone to make an example of...and make it stick. Put the fear of god in him and us.

I am sorry, but today in my journal of life, today is a turning point day. A day when many still refuse to see where we are going.

Exactly right. Add this to the Mozilla CEO and they have succeeded. Hate speech law like Canada’s but far more severe is around the corner.
