A new poll shows that only 15 percent of Americans want former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to run for president.
The latest YouGov/Economist poll shows that 47 percent indicated that they did not want Bush to run. Thirty-eight percent indicated that they were not sure.
The poll also shows that both Bush and former Governor Chris Christie get a 49 percent favorability rating among those that identified themselves as Republicans.
Christie, however, is disliked by 37 percent of Republicans, which is a higher unfavorable rating than Jeb Bush who got 25 percent.
Forty-two percent of respondents who identified themselves as conservatives gave favorable ratings to Christie while 44 percent rated him unfavorably.
For Bush, 38 percent of conservatives rated him unfavorably compared to 33 who thought otherwise.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), however, enjoys much higher numbers than either Bush or Christie.
Sixty-three percent of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Paul, while only 15 percent rate him unfavorably. Sixty-one percent of conservatives polled rated Paul favorably.

So is anyone going to take seriously any poll that does not include Ted Cruz?
This one apparently did not.

All true. But I would still hold my nose and vote for him if it comes down to Paul vs. Bush. But I really hope it doesn't.

Yes. Rand Paul is a serious libertarian. Put him on the big stage, and he will quickly remind the nation why 1-2% is the libertarian norm, and 7-8% is the ceiling.

when are they going to take a poll if Jeb runs as a Democrat? They should take polls amongst all three of them(Bush/Christie/Clinton),,,I am pretty sure Christie would over take Hillary.

Rand is playing up the ‘I can get them to vote for me’ theme quite heavily to get these sorts of poll results.

Frankly, I wouldn't care, because, as a conservative, I can't vote for any of them, either in the Primary, or the General elections.
I got over that "Lessor of two evils" traitorous trick of the GOP-E last election.
Not going back to voting against my conscience every again.

When you think about how quickly the dynamics can chance in the primary season, it makes you realize how silly these early polls truly are.
I agree with your observation.
To: SoConPubbie
Ted Cruz is running to be Rand Paul’s VP. There’s a separate poll for that.
To: BarnacleCenturion; Servant of the Cross
Rand Paul will win.
Which Rand Paul?
The one that actually campaigned, and behaved as a conservative for the first two years of being a Senator?
Or the one morphing into Mitt Romney with an ever accelerating rate of speed?

Another post by a deluded Paulbot.
The same Paulbot who lied about Ted Cruz being to the left of Rand Paul on every issue no less.

LOL. The links are to previously posted FR threads, most from Breitbart (and AllahPundit isn't a muslim blog).
Are you denying that Rand said what he said?!
