BANGUI, Central African Republic (AP) Heavily armed Muslim rebels opened fire inside a hospital in a remote corner of Central African Republic, killing at least 16 people including three local health workers employed by Doctors Without Borders.
The medical aid group confirmed that three staff members had been killed in Nanga Boguila, a town located in the northwest near the border with Chad.
The attack on the Boguila hospital came after it was surrounded by more than 40 armed rebels on Saturday. Inside the hospital staff members from Doctors Without Borders were meeting with several dozen local village chiefs from the area.
Witnesses said the rebels had come demanding money before opening fire on the meeting, according to Sylvain Dofone, a legislator from the area who had spoken with people who fled the violence and reached a neighboring town 20 kilometers (12 miles) away.
"It's indescribable what is happening there. People are completely at the mercy of the Seleka forces and there is absolutely no international peacekeeping force present in the area," Dofone told The Associated Press.
Seleka was forced from power in the capital back in January nearly a year after its fighters overthrew the president. While ousted from Bangui, Seleka militants have regrouped in the north and staged a series of attacks on towns in recent weeks.
The Seleka forces, which include mercenaries from Chad and Sudan, were blamed for countless atrocities against civilians during their violent 10-month rule. The violence carried out against Christians prompted a vicious backlash when Seleka lost control of the government. Christian militia fighters known as the anti-Balaka began launching attacks on Muslim civilians.
Some 2,000 French troops and nearly 5,000 African peacekeepers are trying to stabilize a country -- the size of Texas -- home to 4.6 million people.

There was a long whiney article in the Wall Street Journal this morning about how muslims in some city in the Central African Republic city is having to be relocated for their own protection. It laments the “intolerance “ of the Christian majority there, never mentioning the reason that they want the Muslims out. But I guess if you’re Christian, it’s “intolerant” to resist people who are trying to take over your country and kill you.
Moreover, the “peacekeepers” in CAR only shoot crowds of Christians. They have no interest in preventing muslim violence. Funny, the “peacekeepers” are from Chad — the same country supplying “mercenaries” joining the rebels killing Christians.
Islam’s war against civilization continues unabated.
At some point, civilized countries will have to become just as savage in self-defense. They (we) will find it necessary to adopt the doctrine of Dar-al-Islam--and quarantine all Islamic countries.

While Bill O’Reilly and Megan Kelly of Fox News only concentrate on how shabbily Muslims treat their women but never dare to mention their murderous treatment of non-Muslims.
Neither have their priorities right when it comes to reporting the news.
I did have to LOL when I saw them “debate” CAIR members on their TV shows — neither Bill nor Megan got a chance to get in one word, edgewise. They were totally overwhelmed. I doubt they learned anything from that meeting.
