Sarah Palin: ‘Waterboarding is how we’d baptize terrorists’ in her administration
The Washington Times ^ | April 26, 2016 | David Sherfinski

INDIANAPOLIS — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Association’s “Stand and Fight Rally,” saying Americans’ constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute “stupid on steroids.”

“They knew that if the Second Amendment goes, the rest of the constitution is not far behind,” she said of the country’s founders.

In her approximately 12-minute address, Mrs. Palin also derided what she argued is akin to a ‘blame the messenger’ attitude on gun violence many Americans take today.

“Gun stores are an accomplice to crime,” she said, “and that fork made me fat.”

Mrs. Palin, plucked from relative political obscurity to be the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, still enjoys significant support among elements of the party’s base, and was at times received like a rock star inside the complex adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center, where much of the gun rights group’s annual meeting has taken place.

LOL :)

BloviatingOne won't respond to Sarah gutting his "immigration policy", which is as phony as Tina Fey and "Lisa Ann".

Looks like the "failed half term governor" ain't failin', when she's Nailin' Doughty.

Okay, that's quite a bit of text.  Unfortunately nothing in that text addresses Registration and Remaining in Place.

Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly.  I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register them and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work.  This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth.  She hadn't been his running mate for two years.  None the less, she's still hawking the registration and remaining in place.

Just post a link to let us know when she changed her policy.

Hang on a second. This news may be premature. "It is known" that Walter Jones is a hard-line anti-illegal-immigration foe. It is also "known" (well, at least by the DoughtyPalinStalker) that Sarah Palin is a squish on this issue. As a matter of fact, she might even have an official written policy somewhere, in Doughy's desk drawer, under the Palin look-alike Hustler magazines.

So clearly it is impossible that Palin supported Walter Jones... Rep. Walter Jones on Illegal Immigration:
https://jones.house.gov/issue/illegal-immigration

You know, I'm gald I'm here to do the heavy lifting for you, when it comes to discerning really simple issues.

She also endorsed John McCain for re-election to the Senate of the United States in 2010.  Should I link you to his immigration plan?

It's Palin's policy were discussing here, not Walter Jones Policy or John McCain's policy.

I think what we REALLY have to worry about is if Doughty discovers some video of Sarah Palin on her high school debate team "defending" illegal immigration.

I mean, the farther back in the past her sordid "policies" on immigration go, the more weight they seem to carry.

Well, with one person on Free Republic, anyway... LOL :)

My new goal is to keep you posting about Palin's 4-year-old interview until it's a 5-year-old interview, and then a 6-year-old interview, etc.

And I still won't have watched it. LOL :)

And you still won't have retracted your DUmpster slanders about "a failed half-term governor", or the sneers about her looks.

BTW - did you get any pictures of Palin's tiger that you can share with us, or is that just a little secret between you & Sarah?

Actually, I think what we need to worry about is The Blue Ink squirt (His superhero name in his own mind, a rumor in his own time.....:-) trying to make a video of her junior high debate team where she will make the shocking and irrefutable claim that she intends to force all the illegal immigrants on the US when she grows up. She will then pretend to be against the Dream ACT, the GOPE's attempts to shove it down our throats, support those who are against illegal immigration, and pretend to speak out against those in favor of illegal immigration.

In this video, he will prove all this. The Blue Ink Squirt will then post it over and over again on an FR thread, thus saving the world from her eeevil plan hatched in junior high.

Well, at least he's saved one person on FR........

:-)

Wonder if you & I will get Smurfed for idly speculating about these things?

What the Blue Ink Squirt does, stays with the Blue Ink Squirt.

No you won't.  However other visitors to Free Republic will continue to run into our exchanges here, by using the comments format, and be exposed to Palin's severely flawed logic on this matter.  You'll have played right into my hands by spreading the word.  Thanks are in order.  Thank you very much.  For years Palin's own policy will be aired on the forum each and every day morning and night.

And you still won't have retracted your DUmpster slanders about "a failed half-term governor", or the sneers about her looks.

So what you're saying is that Palin's own stated flawed immigration policy is a DUmpster slander.  Wow, them's pretty strong words for a Palin supporter.  You see, her policy is what I have linked to you for a week and a half now.  You keep trying to change the subjet.  I don't blame you, but it hasn't worked yet.  You keep saying I'm a flawed guy for doing so.  And now you're acting as if it's a DU moment, to discuss what she said in a public interview.  I never realized how much you support her.

BTW - did you get any pictures of Palin's tiger that you can share with us, or is that just a little secret between you & Sarah?

Ah, now you've slipped to first grade logic.  Very nice...

There it is folks, a post from a guy who has spent a week and a half trashing me for using color in my posts.  And what's he doing?  Why using color in his posts. Then it's off to providing links to things he thinks are funny, rather than address a policy that would contribute to a serious threat to our nation.

So it seems rational to him to provide links to jokes, but not rational to provide links to a place where serious issues are discussed.

He'll do research to create misdirection, but won't hit a link to learn something from the mouth of his favorite political person.

And if he doesn't care to listen to her, why should anyone else?  Well one reason might be that unlike him, we care about our nation.

Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly.  I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register illegal aliens, and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work.  This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth.  It was also the same year she stood up before a tea party event and assured them McCain was a Tea Party member at heart.  She hadn't been his running mate for two years.  None the less, she's still hawking the Registration and Remaining in Plac

So once again, 20-35 million illegal aliens being legalized, and the resultant chain migration making between 80 and 200 million new citizens in under 30 years, is not as important as trying to dissmiss it all as a big joke.  Some of us don't think that providing another 80 to 200 million Democrat voters in the U. S. as a funny thing.  Others evidently do...

Who is this mysterious "candidate" that I have? Do we get to play Twenty Questions?

Oh, man - I love Twenty Questions!

Once again, there's one adult in the room, and on or two grade school level thinkers.  And one person who can't stand it that his favorite political person has wedged herself into a corner on legalizing illegal aliens, he's on the floor kicking and screaming for over a week and a half, rather than discuss an important issue on the merits.  Deny, deflect, difuse...

One wonders when would be a good time to urge the candidate to change her policy to one that wouldn't damage our nation?  If now isn't a good time to try to get her to change it, when would be?  Would the late summer of 2016 be a better time?  I doubt it.
