INDIANAPOLIS Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Associations Stand and Fight Rally, saying Americans constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute stupid on steroids.
They knew that if the Second Amendment goes, the rest of the constitution is not far behind, she said of the countrys founders.
In her approximately 12-minute address, Mrs. Palin also derided what she argued is akin to a blame the messenger attitude on gun violence many Americans take today.
Gun stores are an accomplice to crime, she said, and that fork made me fat.
Mrs. Palin, plucked from relative political obscurity to be the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, still enjoys significant support among elements of the partys base, and was at times received like a rock star inside the complex adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center, where much of the gun rights groups annual meeting has taken place.

It's also one of the most obnoxious, patronizing things to come out of his lying mouth.
Are you emulating your hero?
Got Blue Teleprompter?
I think the preceding 300 posts puts the lie to THAT particular load of horse manure. Emulating your hero President Simba yet again?
All the user has to do is hover their mouse pointer over the link, and the link URL is displayed on the bottom of the screen (Firefox browser).
So, posting links to your own Glorious Heroic Words is kind of futile in my case, because I'll just ignore them, just like I've been ignoring most of your Pompous, Self-Important Blue Blather.. Clouds of inane blue ink won't cover your imbecility on this thread. The more you post, the more you trash your own DoughyOne Brand.
The gibbering, ravening hatred you have for Sarah Palin has robbed you of your wits.
Those were your words, not mine.
I wanted folks to be able to know which post some of those were made on, as well as allow people to read them in context. You don't really need to understand any of this.
Well it’s okay for you think think nobody can use the word again. Why should folks expect anything reasoned out of your brain? They’re used to what comes out if they’ve read this thread.
I have asked for a policy clarification.
That’s what amounts to trashing someone these days for some folks.
Thats what amounts to trashing someone these days for some folks.
So, calling Sarah Palin "a failed half term governor" EXACTLY like President Mom Jeans, Lawrence O'Donnell, Keith Olbermann, or any Palin-hating commentator on MSNBC would call her is "asking for a policy clarification"?
OK, DoughtyPinocchio. You get 5 Pinocchios for that one.
Even Joe Biden has got more class than to vomit something like that out of his brain-damaged piehole.
As we used to say on FR back in the old days about most of the Republicans:
Dealing with you is like taking candy from a STUPID baby.
I get to post the link [about Palin's purported position on immigration from 2010, 4 years ago] over and over, and you get to continue to confirm that you can't post something that shows she changed her mind.
Lakeshark took care of my light work many times over on this thread, most recently in #296:
All we have heard about immigration in the past year or two from her is multiple pronouncements against the GOPE immigration policy, full take downs of Rubio for his forty pieces of silver on immigration, and ongoing support for combatting this invasion, yet all the blue inky one can mention is some interviews that were never particularly clear as his proof.
I think that puts that particular canard to bed. "Changed her mind"? More like, changed your spin on her 2010 interview.
The DoughtyPinocchio writes: "I have asked for a policy clarification [from "failed half term governor" Sarah Palin]"
Thats what amounts to trashing someone these days for some folks.
Lawrence O'Donnell couldn't have spewed venom any better.
Well, we'll repost it without your butt-hurt annotations, and along with one of our now-favorite GIFs, depicting the DoughtyOdonnellOne at his keyboard, hatin' on The Palin:

Barack Obama couldn't have spewed venom any better about one particular Alaskan "folks" that gets on his Last Mom Jeans Nerve.

Your candidate says, "...if they register, it is assumed they will work...", in response to what she expects from illegal aliens that are here now. So once they sign, they're legal U. S. residents. And so far, you've to nothing to show she changed her mind on that. That leaves nothing to the imagination. None the less, you folks do live in an imaginary world, where Palin has changed her mind. You just can't find any evidence that addresses this specific issue. Well, some of us think this is kind of an important issue.
I think that puts that particular canard to bed. "Changed her mind"? More like, changed your spin on her 2010 interview.
Think? You think? LOL, we've seen evidence of what you think here. You think using language like you have is a real plus for Palin. I linked the post with the examples above.
And there's THIS classic:

Please provide a link to the post where I said precisely that. Thanks in advance.

In her own words Palin explains her support for Register and Remain in place. You must think they sound alike. For the record, I don't.
Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly. I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register them and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work. This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth. She hadn't been his running mate for two years. None the less, she's still hawking the registration and remaining in place.
Just post a link to let us know when she changed her policy.
We put that particular canard to bed many times on this thread, along with putting to bed your interpretation of Palin's immigration position.
I like Sarah Palin, and I don't like weasel FR Thread Bullies who post regurgitated MSNBC talking points about her on Free Republic.
You hate Palin, and post said regurgitated MSNBC talking points about Palin on Free Republic.
To wit: "a failed half term governor", wrote DoughtyOne. You posted it. So would Lawrence O'Donnell, Keith Olbermann, or any number of Lefty shills on MSNBC or Politico.
You posted it. So own it or retract it, Palin-hater.
We put that particular canard to bed many times on this thread, along with putting to bed your interpretation of Palin's immigration position.
Well I understand you have made many pronouncements on this thread. They are just as laughable now that you repeat them, as they were when you made them the first time.
You have put nothing to bed, except any doubt about your true feelings for Palin, expressed by your behavior claiming to be in support of her.
I like Sarah Palin, and I don't like weasel FR Thread Bullies who post regurgitated MSNBC talking points about her on Free Republic.
Your seemingly endless supply of idiot insults, blow up in your face time and time again. And yet you go right back to spewing what you've already been shown to be silly about.
You state here that I am a weasle FR Thread Bully. Why? Why simply because I have called Palin on something you can't refute.
I provide a link. You provide nothing. No, you have played the part of the thread bully here. If you had something to add to the thread in the way of intellectual substance, you would have days ago. As of this time, you have posted nothing on the subject of Register and Remain in Place.
You call what I linked, "...Regurgetated MSNBC talking points." No, it was Sarah Palin in her own voice, stating what her plans for illegal aliens was.
You hate Palin, and post said regurgitated MSNBC talking points about Palin on Free Republic.
No, I don't hate Palin. I realize how little you care about her, representing her this say, but I don't hate her. I think she is mistaken to want to legalize between 20-35 million illegal aliens. I have said so.
To wit: "a failed half term governor", wrote DoughtyOne. You posted it. So would Lawrence O'Donnell, Keith Olbermann, or any number of Lefty shills on MSNBC or Politico.
I did write that. I did not write, "I have asked for a policy clarification [from "failed half term governor" Sarah Palin]" Just link me to the post where you are sure I did.
I did not link the two, and I initally referenced someone elses post rather than make that type of a statement myself. Later when pressed, I did say I could not take her resignation any other ways than a failed half term. I stated that it was my impression you can't call a term where you resign, anything but a failed term. You don't serve out the term, it's not a successful term in office. It is failed.
That is not my emphasis here. I have been called on it, and I have responded each time
You posted it. So own it or retract it, Palin-hater.
I am not going to retract somthing I believe to be true. Furthermore, I will not retract something I did not post in the manner in which someone quoted me improperly.

I am not going to retract somthing I believe to be true.
So, you admit that you believe that Sarah Palin is "a failed half term governor", and you won't retract it.
As I showed before, there is a vanishingly segment of the country that believe that Sarah Palin is "a failed half term governor".
This segment consists of the vilest portion of the political world - the creatures that inhabit MSNBC, Politico, and the like. "People", to use the term loosely, like Lawrence O'Donnell and Keith Olbermann.
That 1-2% of this country are foaming, rabid Progressives who hate Palin because she represents the opponents who block their path to total power.
Much of the country knows the undeniable fact that Sarah Palin is "a half term governor", but understand that it was the work of that vile 1-2% that I mentioned above.
Not many people in this country believe that Palin is a "failed governor". Her accomplishments as Alaska's governor are myriad, and her crowning achievement was her selection as a national vice-presidential candidate in 2008.
Only the vilest of political vermin, the 1-2%, dare couple "half term" and "failed" to create a slur that they can get their jollies from using as a bludgeon in print or on TeeVee.
Congratulations. You're in select company. Take a shower, unless you like the smell of yourself and your little "failed half term governor" strokefest.

Gosh are you quick.
As I showed before, there is a vanishingly segment of the country that believe that Sarah Palin is "a failed half term governor".
Okay, well if every U. S. Citizen besides myself wants to think of a term where a sitting governor resigns mid-term, as a successful term in office, I won't be joining them.
This segment consists of the vilest portion of the political world - the creatures that inhabit MSNBC, Politico, and the like. "People", to use the term loosely, like Lawrence O'Donnell and Keith Olbermann.
Except one thing you forgot to mention..., they do not subscribe to her failure on the terms I do. They consider all over her actions to figure in, and consider them to be evidence of failure too. And this is something you haven't been bright enough to ask a question about to this point. I believe that at least some and probably most of the things she did while in office, were decent things. I still cannot term a person who resigns mid-term as having a successful term in office. It is still an incomplete, and that cannot be seen as success. It is failure.
That 1-2% of this country are foaming, rabid Progressives who hate Palin because she represents the opponents who block their path to total power.
Once again, that 1-2% is considerably low. The Left in this nation does not like Palin at all. You should know better than that 1-2% figure. It's more like at least 15-18%. Even that may be low. You act as if you're really in tune with the woman, then go wildly off reasoned thought on this figure. Why don't you understand the figure is much larger than 1-2%?
Much of the country knows the undeniable fact that Sarah Palin is "a half term governor", but understand that it was the work of that vile 1-2% that I mentioned above.
Yes, I'm sure the Left in the United States thinks they were real unfair to her, and forced her out of office unfairly. It's amazing your take on this.
Not many people in this country believe that Palin is a "failed governor". Her accomplishments as Alaska's governor are myriad, and her crowning achievement was her selection as a national vice-presidential candidate in 2008.
Her crowning achievement was McCain being desperate to find anyone thought of as a Conservative to run with him. I don't consider that a negative for her either. I just don't think it's a real accomplishment, being as it was Mr I'm Gonna Lose by 30 Points,Unless I Find Someone Quick. I still say that Palin was worth at least 20 points to McCain in the election, and was the only reason he didn't lose by at least 30.
Only the vilest of political vermin, the 1-2%, dare couple "half term" and "failed" to create a slur that they can get their jollies from using as a bludgeon in print or on TeeVee.
Palin resigned mid-term. That's not success. To view it accurately is not evidence of hate. And once again, the Left accounting for about 20% in our nation, the figure is not 1-2%. I'm not trying to inflate the numbers of folks who do not care for her, but we know the traditional level of Lefties in our nation, and it's pretty safe to assume they do not cut her any slack.
Congratulations. You're in select company. Take a shower, unless you like the smell of yourself and your little "failed half term governor" strokefest.
LOL. Another series of comments where you reveal yourself to be the bully of this thread. Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly.
