Bundy didn’t say anything Bill Cosby hasn’t been saying for years. Bundy is no more racist than Steyn. It boggles the mind to see supposed conservatives buying into the NY Times lies. For those of us from the West who have worked the land, it is disconcerting to know city slickers will never really get it though they can dance around it all day long; especially East Coasters. Note to Steyn: stop trying to give yourself more creds by continuing the lie that Bundy is a racist. It only points out your bigotry towards those who work for you in bringing food to your table.
You're missing the point: Steyn isn't saying Bundy is a racist, he is saying that is a misdirection to change the debate. In terms of what the whole Federal bureaucracy run amuck issue, what Cliven Bundy thinks about brown people is irrelevant. Whether Bundy is a Mother Theresa to American minorities or a David Duke is an entirely separate and irrelevant discussion.
He is one man, and if he is a threat to anyone the sheriff can pick him up.

Steyn is not saying Bundy is racist - he is “stipulating” to say “racism is not the point”. He is saying, racist or not, the acts of the government are unjustified.
