Republican Sens. Rand Paul and Dean Heller on Thursday both denounced as “offensive” and “racist” Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s recent comments about African-Americans.

“His remarks on race are offensive and I wholeheartedly disagree with him,” Paul said in a statement, according to Business Insider.

Mr. Bundy spoke the truth rather than rhetoric bordering on “racism”. The American Negro is just that….Negro is a perfectly good word as is Colored, these are not words that are mean or belittling, and they describe in plain English a fact. Another fact, there are too many American Negros dependent on government for the largess he doesn’t work for as are way too many Whites….many abusing the system. That isn’t racism Sir, that is a fact.

Paul has joined the throngs who can't wait to be offended! I am disappointed in Senator Paul as I am in Charles Krauthammer who who sounded like an Ivy League snob in his disclaimer of Bundy's plain spoken words...from an honest, hard working America.

Rand Paul seems to be getting ahead of himself, with all the talk about his presidential potential. If nothing else Rand Paul as we envisioned him would be defending free speech. He certainly wouldn’t be doing the God-thing and proclaiming who is and is not a racist.

Ted Cruz

Nice try, Politico.

The rant was not racist.

And you are showing your immeasurable ignorance by claiming that it is.

Of course, you are liberal...and as such, just are not very bright.

It really must be hard being you.

Cross Rand off the list.

Bundy was only stating what most people, left or right, know to be true.

I guess I’ll keep shopping.

With what has happened in the last 5 plus years and being accused of being a racist because I do not support the left nuts has just about converted me to a full blown racist!

I just don’t give a ChitCogo about the leaches of color any more!

I sure hope I am still able to be involved in the next cleansing of this once great country and as of now I am READY!

Sorry guys but this crap is getting very old and tiresome with me any more!

Friday time to pop a home brew. Cheers.........

I think you’re right. I don’t think this is going to play out like the dooshes at Political and the rest of the left think it will.

No government at gunpoint!

That’s the real issue.

Rand Paul saw the word “Negro” and went in to a panic mode.
Another great Republican Profile in Courage.?
As we all know, the Spanish word for black is verboten in the 21st Century disUnited States.
In contrast the Spanish word for Spanish is preferred over the English word.

They’ve deflected all over the place to keep the spotlight on something other than what is really going on “under the table” with Reid and all his corrupt land/money deals.

It started a dialogue. A dialogue that the left really doesn’t want to start.

Remember what happened to gun laws after Sandy Hook?

Oops.

Runt Paul is just being true to form of the Crap Weasel he is.

In an interview ( MSDNC I think ) a few days ago he said Republican overstate the problem of voter fraud, saying it isn’t much of a problem.

The guy is a total idiot!

Yeah, I think you’re correct also. This isn’t going to play ‘as usual’.

People are fed up.

No government at gunpoint!

Old news. The comments were racist because they were about race. Makes sense? Race has nothing to do with the land issue. Bundy is now doing more harm than good. This will hurt republicans in the midterms.

They were about culture, not race.

People can’t get this through their thick skulls.

The American Negro is just that….Negro is a perfectly good word as is Colored, these are not words that are mean or belittling, and they describe in plain English a fact.

The choice of words are part of Mr. Bundy's cultural, primarily rural, and "religious" upbringing. A leader in the heretical cult of Mormormism, Brigham Young, stated, "What we are trying to do to day is to make the Negro equal with us in all our privilege. My voice shall be against all the day long."

Given his background, while his phrasing may sound a bit tone deaf to 21st Century ears, it's understandable that he would speak in such a manner. Take away a some of the awkward phrasing by Mr. Bundy and his points about the evil created by the DemonRAT plantation are totally spot on and well worth hearing.

We are well into what? The 10th or 15th completely moronic/antisensical thing this guy has said/done?

Paul is not a conservative and proves it every time he sides with the leftists/RINOs. People that continue to support him are likewise not conservative and treated as such. There is no time to play word games and let this fraud drag us into another Romney fiasco.

Folks, accept what he is, dump him for someone better and lets go from there. The Cheshire conservative routine these guys pull every other day is DESIGNED to keep us off balance and unable to form a solid, powerful voting bloc.
