Still the wild west in Colorado for pot compared to the control of the equally dangerous alcohol industry.
Once the cops declare the guy at fault being doped-up....it’s downhill from that point on. Sue the doper....due the shop that sold him the stuff....and sue the state for allowing an accident mentality to be prevalent. It’d even be better if you were a resident from Alabama....passing through the state, and drag them back to Alabama for the entire case.
I think we can all agree personal responsibility has no place in America.
Sue the drunk....due the distributor that sold him the alcohol....and sue the state for allowing an accident mentality to be prevalent.
And maybe it should be.
If it moves, tax it.
If it continues to move, regulate it.
When it stops moving, subsidizes it.
We have a constitutional right to a risk-free life.
I want a Whiffle Life on a Nerf Planet.
simple solution: require all pot users be LICENSED in order to buy or possess or use.
No license no sale, no buy, no use.
ALSO
if you have a pot user license then you are forbidden from having a driver’s license of ANY kind. (CDL, DL, motorcycle, etc)
“Dan Anglin, managing partner of Edipure Brands, countered at another hearing with his own show-and-tell: containers of liquid that looked like apple juice, lemonade and water, but were in fact alcoholic beverages and bleach.
His point: That many food and drink items look like something else when theyre not in their proper packages, and that Colorados recreational pot edibles meet international child-resistant packaging standards.”
I’m sure a child would drink a cup of bleach or gin without knowing, just like they would THC candy and cookies. ( eyeroll)
Liberal dopeheads are to stupid to be walking free in society without adult supervision.
Ah the law of unintended consequences.....Just more proof that the government is incapable of long term thinking
Oh har har. So clever.
That already happens.....If you are at a bar ( at least in California don’t know about other states) if a liquor server continues to serve you they too are liable if you injure someone or something in a car wreck.
The state always claims non suability so that won’t happen
nicely played
NOTE TO SELF: When in Colorado selling AR and AK 30 round magazines out of the car trunk, DO NOT EAT LOCAL PRODUCED FOODS! Eat canned foods from out of state.
Sue the cigarette company.....oh already did that.
The pot industry has officials?
Adds new meaning to the phrase: “Stoned to Death.”

I worked in an ER for years. If you leave something that looks like food or drink laying around, a child will pick it up and put it in their mouth. That is a fact. It keeps poison control in business.
How many people have to die to get these drugs off the market? How many have developed A Fib, or Jaw Degeneration which is irreversible, and means NO dental work.
When I was put on Fosamax NO warnings were given from the FDA by the doctor. After bone, joint pain went out the roof, stomach pain, and a few more nasty side effects, it went in the trash. Now they are pushing the 6 month Prolia, NO WAY, I don’t want a drug in my system that long with the side effects that go with all this class of drugs! I already have 3 drug INDUCED health issues for life.

I remember when our children were toddlers I was so paranoid of leaving anything on the floor. If they can fit it in their mouth they will eat it.
