I worked in an ER for years. If you leave something that looks like food or drink laying around, a child will pick it up and put it in their mouth. That is a fact. It keeps poison control in business.

I remember when our children were toddlers I was so paranoid of leaving anything on the floor. If they can fit it in their mouth they will eat it.

They won’t drink it down thinking it’s kool aid like they would dope cookies.

Booze and bleach don’t taste like candy to a small child.
