NBCs Meet the Press has fallen to such ratings lows that network brass ordered psychological research of the host David Gregory and his family, in a bid to make him more likable.
Friends of Gregory and even his wife were interviewed by a psychologist commissioned by NBC to find out how the host of the flagship Sunday morning show might relate to audiences better.
The Washington Post reported, Last year, the network undertook an unusual assessment of the 43-year-old journalist, commissioning a psychological consultant to interview his friends and even his wife.
The idea, according to a network spokeswoman, Meghan Pianta, was to get perspective and insight from people who know him best. But the research project struck some at NBC as odd, given that Gregory has been employed there for nearly 20 years.
The days of Meet the Press ruling Sunday mornings seem a long time ago now it is in third place.

NBC could have saved themselves the money and asked me what was wrong. When you have a leftist delivering lie after lie on behalf of a larger leftist goal - you will lose ratings not so much because of the host, but because of the content. However - maybe spouting all of that propaganda resulted in psychological damage to DNC Dave?
Oh yea - note to NBC: if your host has a nickname that begins with "DNC" - you might take that as a clue that you have a problem with the credibility of your host and the content of the show.

Apparently, David Gregory’s predecessor Tim Russert was not a big fan of Gregory. As the story goes, Gregory made a complete ass of himself in a restaurant, berating and belittling a waitress.

Why do you think they became psychiatrists in the first place?

I am amazed that anyone still watches that old fossil Bob Schieffer on CBS Face the Nation.
Whose his audience?

Gregory missed the meeting where they were teaching all the komrades how to act like a conservative to fool the opposition.

Good. After the lady from the Boston bombing who was invited on his show asked that Gregory not mention the name of the bombers. Guess what he did? Right out of the gate he mentioned their names and she got up and left crying. He needs more than psychiatric help.

Meet The Press has become what happens when you give a living brain donor a current events program.
By the way...the recipient of David Gregory's brain would like the world to know that he was badly shortchanged in that deal. Said he probably would have done better keeping whatever brains he had to start with.

Headline should read: Liberal need psychological testing to understand why liberalism fails. Worded that way it explains a lot.
