I don’t think we’ve written here yet about the Bundy Ranch standoff, mostly because we didn’t have enough information about the situation to make a judgment about what really was going on. And I didn’t have enough time to figure it all out.
Was it, as some portrayed, a heroic struggle against an overbearing and overly aggressive federal government (in which case we might have taken the side of the underdog) or, as Harry Reid has portrayed it, a bunch of domestic terrorists looking for a shoot up? Or somewhere in between?
Which gets me to the title of this post, “What if Bundy Ranch Were Owned by a Bunch of Black People?”

First of all, it would never happen. There’s a whole lotta WORK connected to ranching and we all know where that would go.
Then again, black people DID have experience “working” back when they were “slaves”. (That is not racist, only fact)

Why would we support those who don’t support us? Most black writers, black apologist and most blacks themselves take the position of what would whites do for us? It’s always a one way street with them. How many blacks came out in support of the Bundy’s?

I would very much like the fed gov., in its proper role of eliminating domestic terrorists, move into many American cities and take out the Black Klan. That will never happen as long as libs control the government.
My people been here since 1621, original census Plymouth rock second boat in from England. The Fortune brought my great, x14 grandfather here and I recall his many many wonderful stories of life with the Pilgrims when I was much younger.

Don’t even think that.. the Imaginary Victims Industry will pester Congress to get recompense on the basis that ranches are owned by black people and that one certainly could have been one.. so pay up, America!

Not really fair, imho. There were quite a few black cowboys out west.
By the early 1900s, there were a lot of Indians who were Cowboys as well. (It was a way off the res, and still in the saddle.) It takes a special type of person to do the job, and there are darned few working cowboys left. I have had the privilege of knowing a few, and most are gone now.
