The photographs were captured by two different amateur Nessie hunters scanning different satellites on their iPhone and iPads.

I first tried to find the shore location, with its distinctive pattern of deciduous, cultured pines, roads, and cleared land near the shore on Google Earth -- but had no luck with a quick search. I was trying to get a hi-res view so I could scale the "Nessie" WRT houses, roads, etc. Bottom line, the "nessie" object probably approached an acre in overall area.
So -- I "played around with" various enhancement tools and multi-layer channel transparency masks, and this is what I think I see:
A few years back, a colleague and his wife rented a big "cruising houseboat", and cruised the entire length of Loch Ness. This object is very nearly the same size and shape as their big houseboat...

Actually, they said they had the vacation of a lifetime. The boat was slow (and pushed water, as in the photo) so they took their good old time and stopped off to visit all the interesting places they encountered.
Their only downside was being rousted out of bed in the early mornings by RAF Tornados practicing nap-of-the earth, below-terrain masking practice with lake-level flights up and down the length of the Loch! '-)

Thanks! You definitely nailed the vessel and its wake.
I didn't look that far up into the Inverness narrows...
The actual location of the house and little harbor in the doctored photo is
57°23'50.88"N 4°20'1.92"W
which is one mile (as the crow flies) SE of your ship's location.
Good work! You can't get much closer than that -- using differing satellite passes...

FWIW, you might appreciate my #93... '-)
