Conservative writer Ann Coulter is enthusiastically endorsing Tea Party-backed candidate David Brat in his primary challenge of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) in the upcoming June primary, citing Cantor's support for immigration reform.
In her nationally syndicated column, Ms. Coulter wrote that her endorsement was based on Brat's opposition to Cantor's immigration policies. Ms. Coulter labeled Cantor a "Maniacal Amnesty Supporter" in the column, and described him as "amnesty-addled."
"Cantor says 'immigration reform could be an economic boon to this country,'" wrote Coulter. "You don't have to be an economics professor [like Dave Brat] to know that bringing in millions of workers is not 'an economic boon' to the workers already here. (If only we could bring in millions of workers to compete for Cantor's job.)"
Coulter applauded Brat, who she wrote "responded to Cantor's baby-talk, saying immigration 'lowers wages, adds to unemployment, and the taxpayer pays the tab for any benefits to folks coming in.'"
"Anyone opposing an incumbent Republican for any reason other than amnesty is a fraud or an idiot," Ms. Coulter argued. "Right now, immigration and Obamacare are the only things that matter. Since every Republican voted against Obamacare, that leaves only immigration," she added.
Ms. Coulter wrote that Brat was one of three men who are challenging incumbent Republican supporters of amnesty in the primaries who pass her test of conservative campaign credibility "with flying colors."
The other two are Dr. Greg Brannon, running in North Carolina's Republican U.S. Senate primary, and Frank Roche, challenging a Republican in North Carolina's 2nd Congressional District, who Ms. Coulter describes as "the lying, amnesty-supporting Renee Ellmers."

Go, Ann!! Now that’s more like it!!
Stopped Clock?
See the comments at Breitbart—enough said.
okay... so where did this come from? color me hmmmmm...
It would be great to see at least one of these Amnesty hustlers bite it in the primary.
why don’t we call this mess exactly what it is — “invasion reform” ?
Who did Bill Maher endorse?
I don't know how many of you noticed that Cantor loudly criticized Obama yesterday after Obama phoned Cantor and talked about Immigration Reform.
Cantor was at his theatrical best.
He bellowed loudly how Obama could not be trusted and how the House would never support the Gang of Eight Senate bill.
In fact, Cantor, just like Boehner, is itching to pass some form of Amnesty plus huge increases in guest workers and Green Cards.
Cantor's primary opponent, as I recall, is an Economics professor, very articulate, and he is going straight for Cantor's throat on the Immigration issue.
Cantor is clearly rattled by this guy, and Cantor's anti-Immigration charade on Wednesday clearly indicates Cantor is afraid that Republican David Brat can beat him.
Ann really is conservative and one of, if not THE best conservative author ever.
Problem is that the last few years she hasn’t been heeding her own words. She went totally against what she teaches in her books.
HOPEFULLY, she’s realized the error of her ways and will come back to the conservative side of things. We do need her, if she’ll behave herself.

I didn’t know that. Thanks, Ann.
Cantor is clueless on Economics, so Kudos to Ann for choosing to support an Economics professor.

Cantor is being groomed to continue the cave-in, doormat Republican Method that has assured defeat for Republican Candidates for decades.
Ann C. is tip-toeing in on the Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico topic, but has a long way to go before she makes much sense in what is good for America.
Let’s see if she starts flopping like a Romney!
Broken clock.....
But Ann is, and always has been, a 24 carat anti-Amnesty hawk, which is why she supports Republican David Brat against Cantor.
She passionately believes that Amnesty - plus our current policy of 1 million new citizens per year - will destroy American Conservatism.
As far as I can see, she is the only nationally known Republican who has made this a core campaign issue for 2012 and 2014.
And if Cantor looses, how strong is the Democrat candidate vs. a tea party candidate?
She supports Romney again...an amnesty pusher. Ann is all over the map.
This is a solid GOP district, and the Democrat running is a notorious moonbat and bomb-thrower. Any GOP nominee will be favored.
Now Conservatives are back on her train wreck? She's a hocus pucus showgirl.
