President Barack Obama says 8 million people have signed up for health care through new insurance exchanges.
That's 1 million more than congressional scorekeepers had initially projected.

Maybe not. A lot of ‘em may feel intimidated into signing up against their will. Good ol’ coercive totalitarian Leftist Progressive Socialism.
I thought it was 10 million or 15 million. I believe in all of 0bama’s stats, because he would never lie.
Everyone knows this is a lie.
Gawd. It’s been debunked so many times it’s not worth the breath anymore.
following goebbels or himmler’s rule of if you’re gonna lie lie big and lie often.
Seriously, who believes any numbers given out by this guy?
According to the polls, 40% of the country.
Maybe. But I can hear it already; “Republicans want to take away your Health Care!”
The GOP and the Right need to go back to school and learn about the free market - America's legacy and reason for its economic might. Nobody talks about the free market. Instead the GOP wants an alternative government healthcare plan providing Obama with ammunition that the Right "has no alternative." That's because many in the GOP want to keep their government jobs instead of wanting to kill the government beast. They're part of the problem. And we let them get away with it. Stupid.
He can make up all the numbers he wants ,some day(hope soon) someone will spill the beans
Liars.
Personally, I think that it is because, in the end, the growth of government empowers the GOP just as much as it does the Democrats.
Absolutely.
That is why the usual Leftist assertion of self-interest/greed applied only to free enterprise and business makes my blood boil. There's no one that has more ambition and self interest than government takers, officials, and bureaucrats whose self interest, greed, & fraud is driven by governmental growth so their nest egg can grow. Their self-interest is also boosted by corrupting coercive power over others. It clearly a win-lose scenario: they win, we lose by force.
The free market economy is a win-win scenario: the buyer and the seller both get what they want and it's all based on voluntary cooperation. Miserable Socialism doesn't hold a candle to the free market. So many on the Right don't get it.
Free market capitalism is the un-coerced exchange of goods and services.
Every other system involves coercion.
It is fun to hear the Progressives tell you why “coercion is good.”
Free market economy CREATES WEALTH. Every other system (read "government-run" system) CREATES POVERTY.
Shout it from the mountaintops.
