A few years ago, I REALLY wanted to go to Ireland to celebrate my niece’s wedding.
I couldn’t afford the airfare and had to miss what was a wonderful family event.
I guess it’s all worth it, because Her Royal Thighness was able to go and have a nice time there at my expense. (Still paying taxes although i am a penniless widow)

Embarrassment would imply conscience or morals. The simply do not want the serfs storming the castle.
The BLM is going to have to plunder a lot of ranches to cover $7.9 million of entertainment and travel for the first family.
I’m curious what most Freepers think of the charge that Michelle Obama is actually a Michael.
I didn’t know this until today, but one of the distinct ways to tell if someone is a man or woman is by the length of the ring finger in comparison to the index finger; Men’s ring fingers are noticeably longer than their index finger, while women’s ring finger is about the same or shorter than the index finger.
Not Saying Mind you!.... just asking.
Are there any women in the freeper audience who’s ring finger is noticeably longer than their index?
Does anyone have comparable figures for the latest Bush administration? Seems as if they mostly went to the Texas ranch, and I don’t remember such excess for “diplomatic” trips, certainly with not such an entourage.
There was one article recently that wonderfully contrasted Laura Bush’s modest 60th birthday party at the Texas ranch with Michele’s extravaganza for her 50th birthday.
While Empress Michelle Antoinette is pooping off nearly 8 million tax-payer dollars on a frivolous vacation, her husband’s goons are trying to fleece a rancher of 1 million. And as long as the welfare checks arrive on time, who gives a darn?

Meanwhile we have not been able to afford a family vacation for 5 years. We have been saving up however for a week long lake cabin a few hours away this summer. If we are very careful it will be a non-credit card trip.

Now... I’ve seen several utube videos, and MOST of them are not conclusive, lacking a lot of detail or verifiable proof.
However, there is ONE video that is extremely convincing, and was done by a female who sounds very credible with the kind of background of someone who would know. The video goes into extensive detail on several proportional tests.
I personally do NOT believe in spreading dis-information, even if it is on someone who hates America like this PERSON does... So I would like to see this video debunked in detail if it can be... any takers?

Somebody should have taken on a tour of southern and western Irleand. That’s where most of the empty, famine houses are. The homes of a million people who starved to death in the mid 1800s. Maybe she could learn to be a little more grateful for being an American. Might even make her feel proud. (snicker)

Freepers have always been the best at exposing stuff as legit or fake as long as I can remember. Hope we not loosing our edge here.
If I could have 0.0005% of what was blown on this trip (about $4K) it would help my family greatly right now. I’m not asking for a hand-out, not at all. Rather, as a TAXPAYER, I’d appreciate a lot less of what I earn being wasted.
A first-family taking a vacation isn’t the issue for me. It’s the numerous vacations, each with a multi-million dollar expense, that I find insulting. If it costs $8M for a vacation, how is it not stealing from taxpayers?
It’s amazing what these people can get away with. Failing in every area of governance— the economy, employment, deficit, destroying the health care system, all the while living like royalty (pun intended) on taxpayer expense.
Has there ever been a more vile dictatorial president than Obama? I say no.
