The race is over!!!
Havent you heard? Lindsey Graham is going back to the US Senate!
If you read tales from the New York Times and watched MSNBC lately that is what you may assume.
However, here on the ground in South Carolina, reality for the senior senator is very different. Recently, public polls have shown Lindsey Graham with less than 50% support from members in his own party, and all of his high priced campaign ads are falling on deaf ears with conservative voters who know the truth about Senator Graham.
The fact is voters are wise to the beltway games that establishment republicans play. Politicians like Graham vote with Harry Reid and the go along to get along crowd in DC, and then call on the special interests to fund their campaign season makeover to sell them as one of "the folks" every election year.
But Graham cant raise enough to cover up ALL his liberal votes:
Voted to bail out big banks - $700 billion
Voted to confirm liberal justices to the Supreme Court (Kagan, Sotomayor)
Voted to continue debate on Obama's anti-gun agenda
Voted to increase taxes by $600 billion
Supported arming rebel elements in Syria including radical jihadists
Voted for amnesty without securing our borders
Proponent of NSA spying program
We cannot allow the Washington, DC political machine to control this race and dictate the outcome with the help of the elites in the media. The current power structure believes they can simply tell us how to vote, and, in turn, we will buy what they are selling. NO MORE. We are here to take our country back and return to the Constitution and commonsense conservative government.
We can't do it alone though.
In liberty,
Nancy Mace
I certainly hope she’s right. I’ve been trying to find video of the debate they had yesterday but it seems to be nowhere.
Signs popped upstate here for Cash, the only problem is the Elect Cash signs have “replace Lindsay Graham” at the bottom of them. I think that’s a no no in campaigning. The no no part having your opponents name on your campaign sign.
I haven’t actually looked at the sign recently, but what I described is the best to my recollection.
Are there electronic voting machines in SC? If so, then polls don’t really matter they just fix the vote. That’s how Reid stays in office even though he’s wildly unpopular in Nevada.
Keep up the good work and get rid of him.
Lindsey Graham should be the poster boy for supporting the Convention Of States. Repealing the 17th amendment eliminates the Lindsey Graham types for good! The 17th amendment is THE ONLY reason people like him and John McCain, Harry Reid and so on even exist.
Graham for the win.
Similarly, it seems that Pryor in Arkansas has taken a slight lead over Cotton.
Landreau is polling better in Louisiana.
At least, according to the media.

The Senate may not change majority rule. Many Republicans thought they had it in 2012, and didn’t. Same may be happening again in 2014.
Incumbency is always difficult to run against.
News coverage and fair publicity for candidates other than the Incumbent are hard to find in any of the SCLSM for this primary election.
Multiple primary challengers are usually good for the incumbent. Not in South Carolina where if the aggregate challenge vote keeps the incumbent from achieving 50% of the total, then he is forced into a runoff. Most of the challengers to Flimsey Tinkerbelle have already signed a pact to support the eventual frontrunner.
Flimsey is in trouble no matter how much GOP-E money he gets.
The ONLY hope any challenger has is a GOTV effort.
Democrats do it with fraud and absentee ballots.
Which Graham challengers were invited to participate in the pact but didn't?!
Ping!
Give it up. All of these challenges to Republican incumbents in the primaries are going down to defeat. Even in Mississippi where there was a chance, the Barbour Machine has taken charge and Cochran will win. Time to suck it up and concentrate on beating Democrats.
Not in off year elections 2010 is the model for 2014 - not 2012 - for several key reasons.

I'm not ready to "embrace the suck."
As if there's a difference.
Conservatives have had years to become disgusted with Graham, and no expensive, last minute TV ads to persuade them otherwise are going to have much effect.
There are a handful of very good candidates running against Graham, and all but Mace have promised to support whoever gets in the run off with Graham, prompting some to ask what is Mace’ motivation if she’ll likely support Graham over anyone but her?????
