Federal Fire Power: Instead of putting a lien on the property of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, the Bureau of Land Management surrounded his ranch with 200 armed agents. It's not the only agency with a private army.
Back in 2008, candidate Barack Obama slipped a little-noticed line in a speech, proposing a national police force reporting straight to him.
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military," he said. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
As our military is slowly decimated by his policies and budget cuts and with federal agencies arm to the teeth we may be seeing what he had in mind at the ranch of a 67-year-old Nevadan.
Agents of a federal agency that many Americans were surprised to see so heavily armed even herded American citizens into "First Amendment zones," another surprise to those who thought the Constitution made the entire U.S. such a zone.
"The government's option," said Fox News contributor and former Judge Andrew Napolitano, "is to take the amount of money (Bundy) owes them and docket it that is, file the lien on his property. The federal government could have done that.
"Instead, they wanted this show of force. They swooped in . . . with assault rifles aimed and ready and stole this guy's property, they stole his cattle. They didn't have the right to do that. That's theft, and they should have been arrested by state officials."
The Environmental Protection Agency also has a private army. In late August 2013, armed EPA agents joined agents of the Alaska Environmental Crimes Task Force and swarmed gold mines near Chicken in the Last Frontier State.

“It’s time to end civil service protection. Each party should bring in their own people”
Or just eliminate the need:
Institute a flat tax with no deductions - lay off 90% of the IRS
Institute vouchers - hobble teachers’ unions
Devolve environmental protection to the state - eliminate the EPA
And in a related move:
End Federal backing for all student loans except for US citizens taking hard science/math/engineering courses - stop the taxpayer funded flow of free loaders feeding the left-wing “______-American Studies” and “Journalism” departments.
Just a thought.
bttt
They are also not counting on all the former military out here in flyover country.
Lots of people who were trained well.
You mean building up our defense force so Ameirca is strong to protect her citizens and other free sovereign countries from aggressive foreign tyrants, right? That's a good thing, right? Right.
But, no. America now has a government headed by a hater of America and is itself becoming the very threat of tyranny it should be standing against. It is building a military force against the American People. This is the trademark of Marxism, Obama's ideal.
The American People have waited until now to deal with this out of control monster government. May the people and the states of our union repent from government dependency and turn again to faith in God, courage, bravery, and freedom.
Article III
Section. 3.
Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
Waging war against "We The People" is the highest form of treason.
The National Parking Lot Circus is another fed agency that is heavily armed and drooling to use their toys. A rangerette Tazed a guy in the back, in a newly-seized fed area near San Francisco. He had a dog off-leash.
And we all saw their might as they locked disabled veterans and so many others out of our public monuments and parks. Or, in some cases (Yellowstone), locked the public into hotels.
Beware of conspiracy theories.
What's the difference between an armed US Military Unit & an armed Militarized Federal Agency when it comes to employing overwhelming deadly force to achieve an objective? Not Much...
The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits a US Military Unit from enforcing law on US soil.
With numerous federal agencies creating militarized enforcement units, in essence violating the principle underlying the Posse Comitatus Act, I would say it's time to revisit the Posse Comitatus Act and redefine the prohibition from just exactly WHO is prohibited to exactly WHAT level of militarized force is prohibited.
I would imagine that if militarized federal agencies are no longer allowed, without an act of Congress (like a limited specific declaration of war), to law enforce on US soil by employing militarized forces that such militarized units would have to be disbanded.
“He had a dog off-leash.”
Well, at least she did not shoot the dog! /s;)
But...they’re RESCUE vehicles...it says so! They’re here to HELP us! /s;)
Police state indeed.
And we just go merrily along in the comfort of knowing that voting every two years will restore our historic, God given republican freedoms.
And they all have to live somewhere.
Voting with ones emotions leads to bad things.
I hope so.

“Well, at least she did not shoot the dog! /s;)”
Miracle!
She was soon reassigned to the Grand Canyon — which actually is a step up for most of the rangers. They start out in urban areas to get experience but usually want to be in the actual national parks.
This could be easily fixed if the gutless wonders in Congress simply stripped the funding for this from every agency that has its own militia.
To my knowledge, no member of Congress has even suggested doing so, much less come out forcefully for it.
And therein shows where their affinities lie.
