San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro wants President Barack Obama to give temporary amnesty to illegal immigrants whose family members are U.S. citizens.
Castro, considered a potential vice presidential candidate for Democrats in 2016, believes Obama should extend the deferred action even more to those over 30 years of age and who may not have come to the country as children.
"We should look at people who have been here for more than ten years, who do not have a serious criminal record and who have family members who are United States citizens," Castro said in an interview before his debate Tuesday with Texas Lieutenant Governor candidate Dan Patrick. "My hope is that President Obama extends what he did with DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals] for the DREAMers to ease deportations for people without serious criminal records who have families in the United States."

What kind of criminal record isn’t “serious?”
California is the best example of the result of the open borders policy where a the state is under absolute power of the Democrats. California was a red prosperous state while it was under Republican administrations. In fact, California was by itself the 5th world economy. Now it is a bankrupt state and Californians are migrating to Texas, Florida and other states that still are under Republican administration favorable to free enterprise and the creation of new well paid employment. Unfortunately, along with them also comes the liberal virus.
Exactly! It wouldn’t be so bad if California was a model for success, but I don’t think it is. There are some very, very wealthy enclaves in California, but that’s exactly what they are—enclaves. Leave them and you’ll find plenty of poverty and crime.
I don’t doubt it’s a good life if you’re a Californian at the top. No doubt there are plenty of poor people to cut your lawn, raise your kids, cook your food, etc. Plus, California is a very beautiful state in some areas if you can afford them.
Unrestrained immigration, in my opinion, will make California look like a third world country at some point. What do you see in those? You see a handful of very rich at the top and everyone else living in poverty. That’s America’s future, too, if we don’t slow immigration down.
It’s unfortunate that many of the immigrants who come here looking for a better life, bring with them the very ideologies that create poor living conditions in their home countries to start with!

NBC Eyewitness News 13 in Indiana — yes, Indiana — shows a massive IRS tax loophole which provides over $4 billion per year in tax credits to millions of illegal aliens. In many cases recipients of American taxpayers’ misused monies have never set foot in the United States.
Indiana is approximately 1700 miles northeast of the Mexican border.
A device known as the Additional Child Tax Credit is being used to pay for children living in Mexico — who have never lived here. One thief admitted through an interpreter that his address is being used to file tax returns for numerous children, including multiple nieces and nephews. “If the opportunity is there and they give it [to him] why not take advantage of it?” he asked in Spanish. As a stunning example, thousands in tax credits have been awarded to an illegal alien who claimed 20 children live in a single trailer, that actually housed just one little girl.
The IRS is aware of the magnitude of this fraud yet has done nothing to rectify it. In fact, this is the IRS website giving ten tips on how to apply. The application forms are easily downloadable.
