Here Are The Two Soviet Propaganda Posters Hanging In The White House Press Secretary's Home

Washingtonian MOM magazine's spring issue has a profile of White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's wife, ABC News contributor Claire Shipman, that features a picture taken inside their home. In the background of the photo, you can see two framed Soviet-era propaganda posters.

One of Carney's posters is a version of this iconic design by artist Dmitry Moor with a soldier pointing his finger alongside text that says "Have YOU Enlisted?" in Russian:

The other poster features a female factory worker. According to this eBay seller, who is offering one for $1,660, the poster was printed on June 26, 1941, days after Russia began fighting the Axis powers in World War II. It encourages women take jobs vacated by men who have gone to fight. The woman in the poster is switching out a tag with a man's name to one with hers and the text says: "Women! Learn production, replace workers who went to the front! The stronger the hinterland - the stronger the front!"

Anyone who had NAZI paraphernalia hanging on their walls would be as equally unfit for public service as is Carney for his Soviet posters.

Okay I'm no defender of Carney or Shipman but are these pictures a gag or something? It seems like they are obviously meant to be propaganda pictures...all the food, the happy children, etc. etc. and isn't putting the soviet pictures in them kind of like a wink, wink, this is a joke?

Put their names on the rope list...out and out commies and enemies of We the People. Disgusting POS, they now feel so free to express their love of socialism/communism/marxism. I enjoy listening to old time radio programs from the 40s and 50s particularly, and I just heard a few episodes of the radio series called This Is Your FBI. They knew how to handle commies, how to scout them out and infiltrate their groups,and then take them down for treason. I do hope that before I leave this earth, we will return to a country that's free of the vermin, the cockroaches known as the left...and be sure to treat em’ like the vermin they are...destroy em’ whenever you get the chance.

Currently the Obama media is in the loop. They are part of the ruling class, so this picture makes total sense.
