40 mm CS grenades.
For the patch could be the American flag ,old style flying backwards.
OMG
.that may be the scariest two word combination in history!!!!!
And when fired into the midst of 20-30 riders on horses surrounded by 5 times that many dismounted civilians, what is the likely outcome?
They look like mercs from South Africa.
They bring a knife we bring a gun. They will be back. This is just round one. I want to know how much each one of those light trucks cost. And the sunglasses. They have the look of the guys who were in Boston. Maybe the guys in Boston were 50 lbs heavier.
I suspect I will catch hell for recommending TV, but I am.
Specifically, I recommend watching the series The Wire. I am not only watching but studying the series in an attempt to see and understand an even fictional account of the phenomena you noted. There are a lot of different factors involved in the deaths of negro young men (and women) at root related to drugs.
The series lasted 5 years so there are ~60 episodes. They focus on different aspects of life in Baltimore viewed through the actions of a special police unit charged with arresting drug dealers. The urban drug culture is the recurring theme year to year. In different years, different themes are the focus. Police bureaucratic incompetence, city hall politics, union corruption, and a host of lesser aspects combine to describe failure of the entity that is the American city. However, the well drawn and recurring characters in the drug trade carry through from year to year.
The Wire is an outstanding series and is well worth the effort to find and then watch in detail.

Hooker patrol from LV.
Out of their jurisdiction, they have no arrest powers. Local Sheriff needs to disarm them and lock them up
Why do Park Rangers need assault weapons?
CS doesn’t bother horses and dogs much. Pepper spray does, however.
Why does the NWS need assault weapons?
“And when fired into the midst of 20-30 riders on horses surrounded by 5 times that many dismounted civilians, what is the likely outcome?”
Return fire?
“Which begs the question, what were Vegas Metro Swat Zebra Teams doing there?”
Mutual aid.
good to know who the f-ing enemy is.
The federal gub mint and its milti goon squads.
It looked like a few there on horseback had six-shooters - not much good, but I did see pictures of one or two with more capable longer range weapons up behind the concrete bridge dividers behind them. (If that was at the same location).
My main concern is that the BLM/contractor goons had supposedly non-lethal CS grenade launchers, but to launch one in the midst of a group of riders would likely result in the trampling of some of the dismounted civilians. IOW, the potential use of these weapons by the government WAS lethal in some respects.

Park Service SWAT Team.
You’re right! I was a bit incredulous, but I searched that fact and it is true. Thank you! I stand corrected.
Names and addresses.
Pix would be a plus.
Those horses are very likely ranch horses used to working around cows, coyotes, wild horses, etc. It takes a lot to un nerve them, not saying it is impossible, but the horses would likely not spook and panic. They were used in violent warfare for thousands of years for a reason.
