The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced today that it was ending its effort to seize Cliven Bundys herd of cattle that has been illegally grazing on federal land. The reason the BLM suspended the cattle round up was to protect the safety of federal employees and members of the general public. Bundy and a smattering of his right-wing supporters have threatened to wage a range war if the government continues with its effort to enforce the law. Let that sink in for a minute. The government is halting their efforts to enforce the law because of the threats being made by Bundy supporters.
In other words, the threat of violent opposition to the federal government enforcing current law, caused the government to back down and yield to the demands of domestic terrorists.

I don't remember the date or the details, but I think a few years ago, the environmental Nazis were suing to get the grazing fees raised because they claimed the ranchers had damaged the land.
Go to the website & read the comments section. There’s some back & forth but it’s mostly liberals denouncing Bundy as a racist criminal & then shouting down those who disagree.
These are the people who cancel out your votes. A different culture.
Citizen Kane
And if Bundy is a terrorist then what word do we have reserved for Bill Ayers and those Black Panther voter fraud dudes?
thanks
Liberals? I thought I had entered a Twilight Zone of leftist nutcases and delusional no-nothings.
I now agree that we should step up funding research and buying padded cells for the Liberal Mentally Ill.
I enjoy a good feisty argument but most of the Politicus writers sound insane.
The only point I want to make is that the Bundys DID PAY grazing fees, only not to the US Govt. That is an issue that will be played out not only in court but also in Congress and the court of public opinion.
If the BLM failed to live up to their part of the bargain re keeping fences in good repair, roads repaired, etc., then what you have here is a “failure to communicate”.
I would have liked the State/Governor to have shown some more balls in dealing with the Feds threatened use of deadly force in this situation.
And the “First Amendment Area” is downright illegal, esp. if it is on private property.
When you work in Washington as I do, and see how the upper leadership/management people in Govt agencies abuse their powers and common sense, then you would understand why the Bundys took a stand against the authoritarian and politically led BLM. The US Forest Service had the same problem during the “Govt closure” last year. Political and incompetent hacks have been put into place throughout every govt agency that I have followed (and I deal with a lot of them).
This is not to say that there aren’t very good govt employees who are trying to do an honest job, but for too many of them, their bosses are marxists, authoritarian Democrat political hacks, bundlers/bunglers, wackjobs (Holdren and Hansen, Van Jones, Anita Dunn, Lerman, etc).
Political corruption is at its all-time high in DC. I guess Obama really meant it when he said “Yes I did”. That’s the one thing he has done successfully.
And now you know the whole story.
Thanks 4 reply.
“The media and the White Guilty types are terrified to even report black on white, black on Asian, Black on Mexican crime. The knock out game is at an all time high, yet the left cowards from these real terrorists.... but, they attack conservative types because in reality, they dont fear us. They know we wont raze whole cities because we feel slighted.”
“America’s first slave owner was a black man.
According to colonial records, the first slave owner in the United States was a black man.
Prior to 1655 there were no legal slaves in the colonies, only indentured servants. All masters were required to free their servants after their time was up. Seven years was the limit that an indentured servant could be held. Upon their release they were granted 50 acres of land. This included any Negro purchased from slave traders. Negros were also granted 50 acres upon their release.
Anthony Johnson was a Negro from modern-day Angola. He was brought to the US to work on a tobacco farm in 1619. In 1622 he was almost killed when Powhatan Indians attacked the farm. 52 out of 57 people on the farm perished in the attack. He married a female black servant while working on the farm.
When Anthony was released he was legally recognized as a free Negro and ran a successful farm. In 1651 he held 250 acres and five black indentured servants. In 1654, it was time for Anthony to release John Casor, a black indentured servant. Instead Anthony told Casor he was extending his time. Casor left and became employed by the free white man Robert Parker.
Anthony Johnson sued Robert Parker in the Northampton Court in 1654. In 1655, the court ruled that Anthony Johnson could hold John Casor indefinitely. The court gave judicial sanction for blacks to own slave of their own race. Thus Casor became the first permanent slave and Johnson the first slave owner.
Whites still could not legally hold a black servant as an indefinite slave until 1670. In that year, the colonial assembly passed legislation permitting free whites, blacks, and Indians the right to own blacks as slaves.
By 1699, the number of free blacks prompted fears of a Negro insurrection. Virginia Colonial ordered the repatriation of freed blacks back to Africa. Many blacks sold themselves to white masters so they would not have to go to Africa. This was the first effort to gently repatriate free blacks back to Africa. The modern nations of Sierra Leone and Liberia both originated as colonies of repatriated former black slaves.
However, black slave owners continued to thrive in the United States.
By 1830 there were 3,775 black families living in the South who owned black slaves. By 1860 there were about 3,000 slaves owned by black households in the city of New Orleans alone.”

On top of this, you will find there were far more white slaves in history than blacks combined. Many of them, children. Though this history, like many truths, has been extirpated from most history books.
