LAS VEGAS -- Armed Bundy family leaders are meeting with BLM officers to discuss what will become of the cattle that the feds removed from BLM land, over the past week.
Tensions are running high and I-15 is closed in both directions, about seven miles south of Mesquite, because protesters have blocked the freeway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The protesters have gathered in support of rancher Cliven Bundy, who has been locked in a legal battle over grazing rights with the federal government.
Nearly two dozen police officers and a SWAT unit are on scene.
NHP is advising people to not even try to go to Mesquite from Las Vegas. Troopers have tried to get cars through the area but they are not having much luck.
There have been no overt threats of violence from the protesters.

The BLM law enforcement officers are in Mesquite as they wait to leave the area. Police are there to help them do that safely.
It was announced Saturday morning that Sheriff Douglas Gillespie, Bundy and the BLM were able to reach an agreement over the cattle the BLM has already removed from the federal property.
The BLM has offered to pay Bundy for the cattle already confiscated, sources say. The protesters say the cattle should be returned to Bundy.
This is a developing story.

The number “rounded up” was reported under 350. If that includes those they killed, they were not very careful handling the livestock.
You could say they killed most of the cattle they encountered if this is a correct accounting
If he two bulls were killed I’d say he government will be owing Mr Bundy. Their worth and future sale of semen could easily be worth well over a million. Particularly if they were top quality!
Is it true that one of the retreating initials said as leaving “ This has been a very MOOOving experience but I udderly could not steer the Cowed !”
The report I saw was over 250 killed
poetic license (and justice)
Congressional hearings haven't started on this yet. The Ruby Ridge hearings lasted for quite a while.
Dead cattle aside, I'm glad that it has been resolved without the loss of human life, so far.

I heard 130 who knows? I watched the cattle being freed on live feed. It looked like most had calves with them. I would say 200-300 cows went by.

God bless them all and hope thousands more are on the way.
In Oregon, cattle ranchers, ranch workers and many people living in ranching towns are hard working patriots, conservatives and definitely anti establishment. If the majority of Americans were like these patriots we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now.
FR could do the research and keep sending it to people like Hannity. It’s not just ranchers that he government has tried shutting down. Some successfully
Fishermen have also met their grief. Salmon fishing in Alaska (so Clinton cronies could sell farm raised salmon). Someone mentioned the oyster industry on another thread
These people are true heroes. It sure is refreshing to know there are still real patriots left. I certainly hope this emboldens more patriots to resist government tyranny, and hopefully, at least as far as I can tell, without anyone getting hurt.
Roger that.
“^^Reids buddy is the head of BLM.^^”
He’s not his “buddy,” he’s his former chief of staff.
Amen to that...This proves that it’s not too late to stand for what’s right and fight government tyrants.
Never, never give up.
More like brilliant. Fastest way to get the attention of the casino owners(mob) is to stop traffic to Vegas from SoCal. Also reveals the mob ObamaNation connection because all of a sudden the BLM is contrite.
Johnny, what’s your source on the dead cattle?
I doubt it was the “protesters” who blocked the interstate.

The account of 130 dead cows and 2 dead bulls came from a lady who was on the phone just before Alex Jones' David guy talked to her. The lady said she talked to her friend in Arizona who said that the BLM had done that in ARIZONA
If we keep repeating the lie, it only defeats the purpose.
Thanks, Johnny
