Groups from as far away as New Hampshire are riding out to Nevada to join the cattle rancher whose standoff with the federal government is growing tenser by the day.
The groups said they were going to the ranch, some 80 miles north of Las Vegas to stand with Cliven Bundy, who property is surrounded by federal agents. Bundy's herd, which once numbered nearly 1,000, is being thinned out by private contractors under the watch of dozens of armed federal agents in SUVs and helicopters, the government says, he has refused for two decades to pay fees to allow the cattle to graze on federal lands.
“Our mission here is to protect the protestors and the American citizens from the violence that the federal government is dishing out,” Jim Landy, a member of the West Mountain Rangers, who made the journey from Montana to Nevada, told Fox News Channel. “People here are scared.”
Bundy's family called for support this week after some incidents of violence between the family and protestors with law-enforcement. Bundy’s son was shot with a stun gun on Wednesday and his sister, Margaret Houston was pushed to the ground in incidents caught on video. The protests began to grow last week, after agents from the federal Bureau of Land Management shut off access to a large swath of federal land to round up Bundy’s cattle.

The ‘we the people types’ love to show up , except on voting day . THAT is the day they should all show up to vote , dragging every friend and relative with them . They should also tell ALL their friends and neighbors that if they vote for any Democrats , people like the Clark Co. commissioner that is telling outsiders that wish to support the Bundys to should plan to have their own funerals .... WE let them get in office and then we barely hold them accountable and their is no tangible downside for official maleficence. Small skirmishes to not win the war . We need to start seeing it as a war and start planning how to tangibly WIN the war .
The regime may end in 2yrs or so, but the damage will be around for decades, if not forever.
No doubt about that.
I hope the Republicans will add to their platform that, if elected, their first order of business is an executive order to rescind oobama’s executive orders. Then pass laws to make it more difficult in the future for tyrants to abuse power the way obama has.
It’s not coming to an end anytime soon without help.

This standoff has the potential to inspire a stand off against the Government vs. the sovereignty of a state and the sovereignty of the individual.
I’d like to know how much land he owns and if the Feds are encroaching on his land.

Bad news: You won't ever celebrate.
I joined the Navy in 1969. I doubt if more than 5 out of the 80 men in my boot camp company were “experts” about the constitution. And I’m not going to count myself among those 5.
Before that I knew a lot of cops when I was a teenager. And I KNOW none of them knew anything about the constitution. And it’s only gotten worse since.
Local cops kill dogs. Federal cops kill cows.
All the coverage I’ve seen on this, including Fox, says the rancher is wrong. You only get the truth on the internet. Most people get their “truth” from the mainstream media.
Bad news: You won’t ever celebrate.
I hope I make it that long.
I will celebrate knowing that we can possibly start rebuilding this nation. Obviously, a lot depends on who gets elected.

Would you stand up for a neighbor who refused to pay property taxes for twenty years?
I’m thinking this is a manufactured crisis by the administration. What is their end game? Prodding the TEA party and conservatives until they fire the first shot? How does this play int their election plans and neutralizing the TEA party? Making them the bad guy, the deranged.
