Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s decades-long battle against the federal government over grazing rights has heated to the point where militia groups have joined in and taken up spots against the feds who’ve circled his land — and talk is, they’re not afraid to open fire.
A spokesman for the one of the militia groups said as much to local 8 News Now: I’m not “afraid to shoot,” he said.
Margaret Houston, Mr. Bundy’s sister and a cancer survivor, said at a town hall gathering this week that the situation “was like a war zone” and that she felt “like I was not in the United States,” The Daily Mail reported. The Las Vegas Review-Journal described it this way: “Serious bloodshed was narrowly avoided,” in a story about how dogs were unleashed on a woman who was pregnant while the rancher’s son was hit with a taser.
On Tuesday, armed Bureau of Land Management agents stormed Mr. Bundy’s property, escalating a court dispute that’s wound for two decades over the rancher’s refusal to pay for grazing fees.

Now militia groups are on the scene, promising to help the Bundys keep up the fight.
“This is what we do, we provide armed response,” Jim Lordy, with Operation Mutual Aid, told the local broadcast station. “They have guns. We need guns to protect ourselves from the tyrannical government.”
Mr. Lordy also said “many more” militia groups are coming to the site to join in the Bundy family defense.

Cliven is too caught up in his image as a folk hero to realize that these militia members don’t have any other agenda, other then to start a real shooting war. Watched his wife plead for sanity. But Cliven and his son aren’t listening.
There are some dogs I wouldn’t mind being shot. Sick a German Shepherd on a pregnant woman and the dog should be shot. Along with it’s handler.
I’ve said all along that Reid is the messenger boy who passes the orders along to Obama. It’s obvious Reid is in charge of this operation.
E. I was out west of San Antonio a year and a half ago and I saw a lot of ranches with no cattle. I believe the feds have taken them over.

Many of these people defending the government in this case would be right at home as Tories supporting King George over the “Rabble” Patriots in 1776.
While this event will end in favor of the government the popular response is demonstrating that people are fed up with the Federal government. Those in power have lost or are rapidly losing the love and respect we once had for our government. It will be an event like this one that will start the coming Social War.

I pretty much stand with the rancher’s on this matter, regardless if he owes leasing money or not. I heard him say on the news that one of his beefs about the lease payment is his refusal to pay the Government.....but, would have no problem if this was going to the state or country.
So when you listen to him you get a broader understanding of where he’s coming from...and I think it’s very important he began fighting this from the beginning...ad has been for years.

"I was just told by commissioner Collins of Clark County NV that all of us folks from Utah are ...a bunch of “inbred bastards”.... and if we are coming to Clark Cointy NV to support Cliven Bundy we all ...“better have funeral plans”.... But my understanding is that the BLM ‘changed the rules’ without meeting with the ranchers, which apparently was done before...
I think this guy just got fed up with being pushed to the bring with no say along the way once the Gov. began laying down conditions etc...and BLM began working with EPA...which we all know is the Governments hired thugs!
That’s exactly why I do think things will get “hotter” there in Nevada...I’m more interessted to see the results of those seeing where HArry Reids dirty hands have been in this....he’s been buying land and selling etc. since the 90’s....and knowing how the Mormons have an agenda to acquire land throughout the USA, Reids got the connections to pretty much do what he wants.

I have a hunch Harry Reid is behind this....or at least instrumental....but he usually doesn't get involved and move mountains for organizations, or groups, regardless of what they are, unless he stands to gain monetarily himself. Reid's greed and grandiose is more than well known.
