Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said goodbye to the White House on Friday, smiling and laughing during the press conference announcing her departure.
President Obama praised Sebelius for her tireless efforts to promote Obamacare and “turning the corner” when the healthcare.gov website failed.
“Of course, what Kathleen will go down in history for is serving as the secretary of Health and Human Services when the United States of America finally declared that quality affordable health care is not a privilege but it is a right for every single citizen of these United States of America.”
Administration staffers gave Sebelius a standing ovation as she took took the podium with Obama during a Rose Garden ceremony at the White House.
Obama thanked Sebelius for her service and said that she had earned the right to leave, although he would miss her her advice, friendship, and wit.”

In “normal times” I would say you are absolutely right. And you might be right. Even probably right.
But this administration is so disconnected from reality and the consequences of their actions that Sebillius may in a time of her own choosing — however unlikely that sounds to rational thinkers like you and me.

I can't recall the exact circumstances, but I believe it was during FDRs 2nd term that he wanted to fire some cabinet head, but the guy wouldn't quit..This way..the WH can pull the trigger if the person won't play ball..

Truly incompetent people have no clue they’re incompetent. She can smile and laugh because she believes she did an outstanding good job.
I wonder if Scott Pelley’s joke of a news cast will even report this tonight. Probably not, he gave this breaking news one line and 3 seconds 15 minutes in to his crappy show last night so he probably feels it’s “old news” not worth reporting because it will shed light on the failed obamacare program.

Agreed. But have you ever been talked into something and when it happens you realize you just did the stupidest thing that you have ever done. That is her in that picture.
My pet name for her is Kathleen Sebaceous, reminding me of that swollen sac of cheese puss sometimes growing under one’s skin. She’s exactly that, the hagged out evil crone.
I only hope she someday succumbs to the healthcare delivery system she helped shackle this country with. I avidly hope! I hope she gets sent home with ‘one of those pills’.

Sibelius cost the country about 1 billion in wasted computer code, had no idea how to manage the project, stood aside as some adults were called in to save the project, and acted as a toadie in covering up all the problems.
That’s grounds for firing!
But, Zer0 has no idea how to fire anyone as incompetent as himself, so we have a rose garden photo-op praising the departing idiot!

“We only communicated the information given to us by the former HHS, that 7M had signed up.”
“I wish we could question the former HHS about the huge difference in sign up numbers”
