DENVER (MainStreet) It's something Colorado's legalized marijuana industry did not want to see: a college student tried a cannabis edible product and inexplicably jumped to his death. ...
"There is a groundswell building to repeal it," he said. "It's going to continue to lose support because there are going to be more harms coming from it, large and small." ...
"Increasingly, we are contacted by parents, desperate to learn more," he writes on his blog. "Their typical and tragic messages go something like this: "We never knew. We thought marijuana wasn't even addictive and that it was less harmful than alcohol. Why did nobody tell us?"
...
Anecdotally, there've been a handful of exceptionally violent crimes in the news committed by known marijuana users having what appear to be psychotic episodes. For instance, Rudy Eugene, who made the news for chewing off a man's face, was found to have only marijuana in his system, according to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner.

I saw God. And Jimmi Hendricks was playing FORWARD!!
Yes.
In anti-marijuana opponents it does.
dustmop squirrel trailer hitch purple spiders look at the purple spiders mental problems... YOU KNOW THEM, TOO? How they doin’? TEll them I said “Hey”.
It did for me
It makes me want to rape and pillage!
In college pharmacology class I remember a filmed study of MJ on monkeys. To this day I can see the little guys restrained with nasal tubes giving them a months worth of good government weed in one session. Their stoned little eyes pleading for a cookie.
It’s been my observation over the years that people who go goofy and blame it on drugs would have went goofy on something anyway. If not weed, then it would have been caused by white bread.

I never tried it and have no plans to, I think it smells awful.
I know people that use it that are fine responsible citizens (like a couple of my uncles!) and others that are not like the jagoff tenants my father just had to evict.
I would gather that using a lot of it clearly **cks up the brain somehow. More or less than booze? I don’t know. Probably about the same. I’d advise anyone that uses it to practice moderation.
I’m not a drug warrior type but I expect negative social effects to manifest themselves in Colorado.
Does that make it a non-sequitur then?
AS you stated,Decades ago in an age of decadance.
Nope, it's just that the last I heard/saw of Hash was my army buddies smoking it......
“I never tried it and have no plans to...”
Me either. Khent tried it once and it was laced with PCP; he was f***ed up for days.
I’d like to see the lung cancer rates for tokers; the sh*ts smoked unfiltered.
It does indeed promote it.
I don’t know if you’ve ever watched “Gangland”, but it’s my understanding from watching some of it that all drugs today are full of various poisons. Those who use today’s drugs are taking their lives in their hands.
What if psychosis just craves ganga? :-)
I have not seen that show, but it’s true. Great point.
Cocaine, for example, is extracted/processed with gasoline most of the time; the coke user is injecting a known carcinogen into their body.
