(Newser) – Has Pyongyang started incinerating enemies of the state? At least 11 high-ranking officials in North Korea have been imprisoned or executed as part of another round of purges following the execution of Kim Jong Un's uncle, including a security chief who was burned alive with a flamethrower, according to an unconfirmed report in the South Korean press. A third purge of supporters of Jang Song Thaek will follow this second one, a source tells Chosun Ilbo. The source claims the security chief was singled out for the horrific method of execution because he had turned the country's Ministry of Public Security into Jang's private protection squad.
If true, the widely circulated story is chilling, but if not, it will be the third time in three months that an outlandish and ultimately false story from North Korea has caught the attention of the world's media, notes the Washington Post. Earlier reports claimed that Kim had fed his uncle to 120 starving dogs—and that all men in the country had been required to adopt the leader's haircut. The flamethrower story, however, may be more plausible: It came from a well-known source who has been closely following the country's political purges.

what I do believe is leader fat face has an obsession to be in the headlines and the dopes in the media are eager to keep his antics in our faces.

Actually terror works quite well. The key is to STICK TO IT, and not start to wonder off thinking about how families would be affected (for example).
That’s why Stalin was so effective...and Lenin too, although he doesn’t get the credit he deserves for stating thing like “if you oppose my plan, you should be tortured and executed, and your family too, including your children”.
No...he is a HERO in the colleges that many FReepers send their kids to.
Indeed, the game is socialism, to make believe he is “emotional” and angry, when in fact this punishment is make believe.
What is really happening is the taking away of privileges once somebody is not useful. But since taking privilege away is not PC, a fault and assumed punishment to corroborate with the idea of great fault must be trumped up.
Thus he is privileging himself with cruelty and with removing privileges, but making people believe he is emotionaly reacting in anger for a legitimate “controvercial” fault.
Thus the media can start politicizing both sides, making people feel like he had a reason for it other than greed and arrogance of privilege.
The media is really sick indeed and loves to play in that.
Perhaps Obama is studying that aspect in generating race divisions and anger and fault assignments, when it really is a campaing for his own privileging.
We are headed in the wrong direction in that spiral, and they seem to know it, to trial ballon for it, just like when Clinton wanted to educate on oral sex and corruption, using scandals as a means to make people accepting the new normal.
Dragging the counter sniper position, provoking us to act, is the method of the VC snipers too. They would torture children behind concealment in order to drag a position on the hidden countersniper. The mental siege is what it is. And they have a ready book of messages if we fall for the trap. Keeping our cards is more important.
