Ali was raised in a strict Muslim family, but after surviving a civil war, genital mutilation, beatings and an arranged marriage, she renounced the faith in her 30s.

Even at Brandeis, they trot out the kids who have no concept of jihad to distract from the truly deadly aspect of Islam.
Obfuscation and dissembly. Seems to be working like a charm in the U.S. and U.K.
Yeah, you got that right.
We’ve been eaten from the inside out.

Dear Dr Lawrence
I couldn’t help but speak out about Brandice’s decision. By withdrawing the award from Ayaan Hirsi Ali so that middle eastern students wouldn’t feel unwelcome
you have contributed to the destruction of a true academic environment. There needs to be an honest evaluation of what Islam means to the people and especially the
women that are impacted by it. It is shameful that academics are more concerned by covering over unpleasant facts than examining the truth. By giving in to intimidation
and political correctness you are damaging Brandice, the students Muslim and non Muslim and contributing to the corruption of academic freedom and honesty.
So what if some of the things that students would need to confront are personally painful and would cause them to reexamine their beliefs.
Isn’t that what learning and growing stands for? This is a black eye for Brandice and you have demeaned the school in the eyes of true academics.
That’s a great e-mail, except you misspelled Brandeis.
Universities never liked unique minds. Universities hate competition from people who could rebuild a University temple in three days.
America’s accademia is commiting suicide.

My bad, I initially thought the incident I'm describing took place with Justice Brandeis, not Frankfurter. Glad I checked. Was going to suggest namesake University follows the same path of denial. But I'm posting it anyway, since they are one of many institutions strolling down that road. Just following the lead of Justice Frankfurter.
In his memoirs Jan Karski describes his meeting with Felix Frankfurter, to report first hand on Hitler's ongoing destruction of European Jewry, on behalf of the Polish Government in Exile. People like FDR and Anthony Eden and many others listened politely, and ignored Karski. I'm paraphrasing, but Frankfurter told Karski he simply can't believe him. The offence must have shown on Karski's face, the Justice changed his tone, and got the message across, he can't believe him.
Indeed she has. So why is Brandeis University withdrawing the honor?
My guess: threats.
Thomas Doherty, chairman of American studies, refused to sign the faculty letter. He said it would have been great for the university to honor “such a courageous fighter for human freedom and women’s rights, who has put her life at risk for those values.”
A brave man, himself, to speak out publicly.
These people are seriously delusional. This woman knows what she is talking about - she is telling the truth, yet the idiots plug their ears and refuse to admit that islam is a vile and perverted cult bent on conquering and killing. Muslims will be the death of America. Obama will make sure they win.
THE TRUE FACE OF ISLAM
Mary, Martyr for the Cross; Obama, Muslim Brotherhood Enabler
By Judi McLeod
Canada Free Press 4/9/2014
The horrific, only-days-ago murder of Coptic Christian Mary Sameh George, in a suburb of Cairo, can honestly be laid at the feet of shameful Muslim Brotherhood booster President Barack Hussein Obama.
Rioting Muslim Brotherhood supporters attacked the Virgin Mary and Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, opening fire on it and setting parked cars aflame on March 28. Four innocents died in the attack.A true evil that should be shouted from rooftops, it went down with neither whisper nor whimper in the nothing-to-lose Mainstream Media of the Free West, with only the courageous, American columnist/author Raymond Ibrahim calling attention to it.
Parked by the church, where she was delivering medicine to an elderly, sick woman, Mary Sameh George was savagely mauled and molested before being murderedall because a cross hanging on her rear view mirror easily identified her as a Christian.
Nightmarish in impact, the eyewitness details of Marys death on the Egyptian program 90 Minutes, is not for the fainthearted:
Once they saw that she was a Christian [because of the cross hanging on her rear view mirror], they jumped on top of the car, to the point that the vehicle was no longer visible. The roof of the car collapsed in. When they realized that she was starting to die, they pulled her out of the car and started pounding on her and pulling her hairto the point that portions of her hair and scalp came off. They kept beating her, kicking her, stabbing her with any object or weapon they could find
Throughout [her ordeal] she tried to protect her face, giving her back to the attackers, till one of them came and stabbed her right in the back, near the heart, finishing her off. Then another came and grabbed her by the hair, shaking her head, and with the other hand slit her throat. Another pulled her pants off, to the point that she was totally naked. -Ray Ibrahim, Muslim Brotherhood Slaughter Christian Woman, March 30, 2014.
The eyewitness, as well as many others who have since appeared on videos, complained about Egyptian State Security and how it did not intervenejust like under Morsi, when St. Mark Cathedral was besieged, even as security stood byhow it knows exactly who the murderers are, and how one of Marys murderers, whom everyone reported to Security, was simply relaxing in his home, not even hiding.
Added the eyewitness: Let me tell you, here in Ain Shams, we [Christians] know that every Friday is a day of death; that the day after Friday, Saturday, well be carried to the morgue!
In fact, the overwhelming majority of attacks on Egypts Christians occur on Fridaythe day when pious Muslims meet in mosque for prayers and to hear sermons, Ibrahim continued.
The significance of this fact can only be understood by analogy: what if Christians were especially violent to non-Christian minorities on Sundayright after they got out of church? What would that say about what goes on in Christian churches?
What does it say about what goes on in Muslim mosques? Obama, an unabashed supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, got away with blaming an obscure YouTube and a riot for the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi, Libya.
A video of Marys family members, with one woman calling out Obama for what he truly is, is real and should send chills down the spines of each and every Obama supporter:
A message to [U.S. President Barack] Obama, who is calling for the Brotherhood to return to power again. I want to tell him, have mercy, enough is enough! His brother is in the al-Qaeda organization! Why do you want to destroy Egypt? Egypt will remain whether you, the Brotherhood, or anyone else likes it or not!
Notes Ibrahim: She was referring to something that is as well known in Egypt as it is little known in the United States: that the Obama administration is a sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood, which itself is connected to al-Qaeda.

I can imagine how they would treat Jeremiah.
This lady, an atheist who is gay friendly, is banned from speaking because she denounces the treatment of women in the Islamic world. These same people claim that it’s misogynistic to not spend government funds on free birth control pills.
The rules of political correctness are very confusing, don’t you think?
Leftists never make sense
Not offending muzzies is very high priority for them.
Higher even than gay rights let alone women’s rights. I don’t get it.
