Vance McAllister, the Louisiana Republican who got elected to Congress on Saturday after being endorsed by Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson, supports amnesty for all of the country's illegal immigrants.
“We have to secure the borders, but (citizenship) has to be attainable for those people already here,” he told Thetowntalk.com before the election. “It has to be a tough path, but it has to be attainable.”

Many who come here illegally are trying to find a better life. Many are hard working, decent people.
However, those who push for amnesty seem to not realize any real world ramifications of flooding the country with low skilled ,illiterate workers and changing the demographics and culture of the host country.
They seem to be disconnected from this reality

That’s funny because Mexico lectures us on the need for compassion when it comes to immigrants yet they have a very strict policy regarding illegal immigration
Rule of law is the foundation of a free republic. Without it justice and then freedom are eventually lost. Mexicans, and all the rest, may be coming here because they love their family, but this cannot be a concern for our elected leaders. It is not within their authority to offer help to non-citizens.
Same question could be asked of John Roberts.

Steve King ally Ted Yoho is being primaried by him because he took some bad votes on the farm bill and Ryan-Murray. It kinda makes sense since Yoho did that to Stearns. But Stearns and Yoho are much better on amnesty than Jake.
Yoho supports Steve King and the ICE Union lawsuit.

Immigration
As an attorney and a former sheriff’s deputy, I believe the answer to the illegal immigration is that we must enforce the current laws. Enforcement begins with securing our borders and observing our laws. The failure of the U.S. House to demand enforcement of the immigration system is hurting our economy and damaging the rule of law. However, for those that serve in our military, there should be an opportunity for citizenship. We must also reform our immigration laws to allow the United States economy to capture the productivity of foreign nationals that pursue advanced degrees at our Universities and wish to remain, rather than exporting this knowledge and labor.

Had someone mention today that he thinks the ‘throwing out’ of illegals is basically wrong as the only true Americans - the American Indian ‘belong’ here as the rest of US are all aliens.
I knew he had ‘different’ thoughts of this than I but didn’t realize he was for FULL AMNESTY of the illegals.
I ended the conversation and on the way to ‘Exit Left’, I left him with..
“You mention American Indians being the only ‘true’ Americans ...Well, we apparently didn’t learn anything from their allowing open borders and not checking new comers”.
He was ‘sputtering’ as I walked away...
