On Monday, The New Yorker revealed its newest cover: President Obama as a doctor spooning medicine to smiling children Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). The cover was designed to push Obamacares supposed great success, with artist Barry Blitt stating, The whole enterprise was just an elaborate excuse. I enjoyed drawing Ted Cruz, John Boehner, and Michele Bachmann as petulant children and I especially wanted to draw an open-mouthed Mitch McConnell being spoon-fed his meds.

I'm not convinced that Doctors are necessarily benign.
Far too many don't care how many innocents they kill
in the name of "progress".
Dr. Josef Mengele; .....Dr. Jack Kevorkian; ..... Dr. Barack Obama

That cartoon should show obama giving my neighbors in the city next door their medicine, not the politicians. My neighbors just got hit with a 2 point increase in their mill rate thanks to a 4.5% increase in their health care costs. Another way to make the cartoon more accurate would be to dress obama in a Nazi uniform.

I’d think this would work as much against Obamacare as for it as it shows Obama thinking he knows best and shoving it down America’s throat.
I know what it’s supposed to represent, just sayin’

Given the New Yorker's past history of attempting to cover up Democrat malfeasance by treating Dem opponents and whistleblowers to vicious prose and silly, ugly cartoon caricatures, this new cover hardly comes as a surprise. Recall, for one example, their introductory profile of Linda Tripp when the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal first broke.
All very typical of the "journalism" of the New Yorker and its owner, the Newhouse organization.

Your post would be funny if it weren’t such a serious subject!

LOL, THAT needs to be assembled into a single graphic and plastered on every gas pump in America.

I was going to say this is an insult to their readers, then I remembered this is the New Yorker, and it’s not possible to insult the intelligence of New Yorkers because they don’t have any.

Don't neglect the torturers at some Uni in the Carolinas and the EPA who were torturing subjects by making them breath direct Diesel Exhaust.
I've see the pics of their (likely gov't funded) "apparatus" attached to the Medium Truck outside and find it way more appalling than waterboarding or making peeps wear dog collars.

I was going to say this is an insult to their readers, then I remembered this is the New Yorker, and its not possible to insult the intelligence of New Yorkers because they dont have any. Despite its title, The New Yorker has long been intended as a national magazine. Its target readership seems to be pseudosophisticated leftist snobs all around the country, the movers and shakers of the 'Rat Party.

It's a BARGAIN!
Would the "SS" be put off should those be sent to our "Fearless Leader"?

Look at the date of that anti-Obama cover. It was right before the ‘Rat convention in ‘08. They were still doing HRC’s bidding, thinking and hoping the nomination might still go to her. That explains the “accuracy” of of it!

MEMO TO NEW YORKER:
<><> Ask Obama why he subsidized O/Care by decimating Medicare Advantage for seniors.
<><> Ask Obama why he calculatedly kept the gruesome details to himself while egging on loyal lock-stepping Democrats to vote for O/Care.
<><> Ask Obama why the WH lied to Americans in a way so specific, it showed he knew exactly what to spin and how......via the infamous "If you like your health-care plan, you can keep your health-care plan, period."
<><> Ask Obama why he let Democrats carry on for the next three years making believe they'd actually read the ACA bill, pretending they understood its implications.
<><> Ask Obama why he was taken aback by complaints about O/Care from the public.
=============================================
Obama and his coterie of lock-stepping Dummycrats are gonna
find out real soon: voters did not just fall off a turnip truck.

Still the most accurate New Yorker cover Notice how they couldn't resist making Moosie look thin and svelte
instead of penning in a somewhat realistic big butt and fat thighs?
