I guess it was "take your stupid pill day" yesterday.
Geez.... Everyone is different. These are personal, private decisions well within Murphy's bargained for Union Rights.
Besides, his attendance wouldn't help the pathetic Mets anyway....

The Mets suck and Fransayso is wrong alot of the time but in this case he’s right about the 10 day scam.

Esiason, who said Wednesday that Murphy should have arranged for his wife to have a Caesarean section before Opening Day
Sitting here shaking my head and wondering WTF is wrong with some people.

Mike Francesa, like many of his generation has trouble coming to terms with new touchy, feely metrosexualization of the American male. As he stated in his rant, when his first child was born at 9:00AM he passed out some cigars to his friends and was back at work by 1:00PM. That is just how it was done back then...

Isn’t this paternity leave thing a part of the contract that the players union has with MLB?

Just who the hell do these people think they are? Where do they get the idea that watching baseball gives them the right to tell a man how to act at the time of his child’s birth. Boomer is a f%^king moron IF he was serious when he said that.

How about Boomer Esaison? That was a pretty bad thing, worse to say. Even if these guys are just sort of being shock jocks or saying this in jest.

He didn't take 10 days. He took three days and missed two games. So what? Almost no player plays a full 162 anymore.
He's milking this for ratings. Big man.

Mike Francesa is an idiot who likes to create controversy. Nothing new here.

The only thing dumber than grown men getting paid to play games is grown men getting paid to talk about it.

All those time slots and this is where the guy went off the deep end. Excess bandwidth ensures you will get controversy .. It was his turn.
Maybe MLB Should consider installing birthing rooms at ballparks, for the diehard fans and wives.
just a thought. now all I need is a time slot.

IMHO, anyone who listens to sports talk radio in order to hear the likes of Francesa pontificate needs to get a life.
