BOSTON (AP) — A Saudi Arabian man injured in the Boston Marathon bombings has filed a defamation lawsuit against Glenn Beck, accusing the conservative commentator of calling him "the money man" behind the attack.
Abdulrahman Alharbi, 20, said in the lawsuit filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Boston that his reputation was "substantially and severely damaged" as a result of Beck's statements on the air linking him to the bombings.

You know that the “explosives” were fireworks innards from commercial fireworks they bought in New Hampshire, right?

So someone with common fireworks chemicals and burns is not necessarily a bomber, just someone slow in tossing a Black Cat or getting away from a fountain.
You would not get burned from the pressure cookers, the reaction is far too fast for the thing to heat up at all. A firecracker does not get hot then go bang and neither will a pressure cooker bomb filled with firecracker powder.
If you look at the videos you’ll see nobody but victims around the backpacks, and certainly not this Arab princeling.
I’m not saying he was NOT involved, but no way did he burn himself on the bomb. Maybe while experimenting with bomb construction somewhere else.
Let’s hope this gets started enough for a discovery phase. Seems like a trial balloon aimed at denigrating Beck whether or not it moves forward.

Everything is on videotape. The trial should be interesting.

I’d still like to learn about the chemical residues, though. If they were only on his hands, and not sprayed all over him because of the blast, that’s pretty relevant.
Can you have a jury trial when one party is not an American citizen?

Bombs?
There were two of them, and they went off 12 seconds and 210 yards apart. Therefore, this guy could have been "handling" at most one of them. But, if he had, he would no longer be coming down for breakfast, much less suing Glenn Beck.
Also, pressure cooker bombs "start to go off" rather quickly. You would need one of those super high-speed cameras even to tell the difference between the beginning and the end.
I don’t know who I trust less. This guy, or Glenn Beck.

This is that little royal Saudi college student who was supposed to be studying in the midwest but instead was living in a waterfront condo and going to school in Harvard Square. The Saudi ambassador made an emergency visit to the White House, Moochelle flew to Boston and visited him in the hospital, and lo and behold he was whisked out of the country like the Saudi students of 9/11. Guilty as hell and free as a bird. What a wunnerful country.

As I recall, there were many things that didn't make any sense with his (Saudi Royal's) story, but the government ignored all of them and let him go-no questions asked.
Discovery might be interesting.
He was later exonerated by The Washington Post, and authorities said he was merely a “witness,”
