I don’t know much about World Vision but could this “reversal” be about money (donations) possibly drying up?
to late Worldly Vision, you showed your true colors. Just in it for the money not serving Christ crucified. Homosexuality is an abonimation to God. World Vision sold out to a worldly vision.
Cave cave cave ..
Wish all libs and lgbt would go into the cave and then seal it for eternity
Too late WV.
You already showed your hand.
#TooLittleTooLate
Another sell-out Christian organization that will get $0.00 from me.
I want to know: Will the federal government let them off the hook for continuing to use a biblical hiring policy, or will they have to replace the big percentage of their income (17 percent) that they get from government grants? (That’s what this was mostly about.)
‘Never Mind!’ they said. This may end up like the Organization to fight breast cancer went through when they wanted to get rid of Planned Parenthood as a main beneficary of their collected money. Some women never ‘forgave’ them for it. Some remarks or proposals once stated, cannot be retracted, because one’s true opinion is now known.
Whoever pushed this needs to be fired.
Dittos.
It’s rattling around in the back of my brain that some years ago (5? 10?)WV adnitted that in some parts of the world (read Muslim) they could not conduct their ministry using the name of Jesus. They therefore omitted His name.
Does this ring a bell with anyone or am I confused?
Unreal
They need to reveal which board members and executives drove the decision. And they need to get them out of the company.
Too late for me! It’s Samaritan’s Purse from now on when there is an international tragedy.
You self righteous folks might do well to remember that Satan at one of your blind spots could have you with your spiritual pants down right quick!
You aren’t doing God any favors.
I’ve posted this a dozen times in other threads, their 2011 financial statements: http://www.worldvision.org/resources.nsf/Main/annual-review-2011-resources/$FILE/ar2011-audited-financial-statement.pdf page 3, Public Cash and Food Commodity Grants. So this sounds like it could be the government and corporations.
This article points to problems WV has had with expenses and grants, layoffs, etc.

It could be wished that the Boy Scouts listened as well as World Vision did. What a crowd of unforgiving crabs.
You are not confused. I’ve been a WV sponsor of a little girl in Costa Rica who is now 20. Mr. Stearns spoke at Women of Faith(4 years or so ago), and I began the sponsorship of a little boy from Africa then.
Everything I send had to specifically not mention Jesus. About that time I started thinking about not doing WV - if you look at their literature, it emphasizes “social justice” - a long way from the vision of the Christian founders of WV. So, I’m going to continue my funding of my two sponsored children for a couple of months and have asked WV to terminate my sponsorship as of June 1.
I have 0 confidence that they regret their stance other than for financial interest and continuing to attract the support of Bible believing Christians, without believing the same.
