Just waiting for some moron to come along and say “That’s Racist”.
Nobody can cut pork spending. It can’t be done. If you want the votes to get a piece of legislation enacted, you have to pony up. “You vote for Bill 2666, my bridge and I’ll vote for your bill 6147, building a military base in your (state or district).”
Anybody who even tries to change how things work will get buried by special interests. Reagan managed to cut the pork for people who voted against his issues, but defended his allies’ pork. That’s just how it works.
This one definitely tops my list.

Should play well in Iowa. Lots of farm related businesses and family members still on the farm
I want to know how she intends to resist the obviously successful program Washington uses to co-opt freshmen congressional representatives.
Exposing for us what that program is would go a long way toward giving these “reformers” credibility they no longer deserve, regardless of their novel catch-phrases.

Any politician who promises to cut all federal spending to his or her state and locale without favoritism for any special interest and makes the effort common knowledge will have a job for life now. Most voters are fed up with increasing local taxes (e.g., property taxes), fees (e.g., impact fees), regulations and joblessness enforced by them.
