State senator accused of gun charges
SAN FRANCISCO A California state senator who authored gun control legislation asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.
The allegations against State Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI criminal complaint that names 25 other defendants, including Raymond Chow, a onetime gang leader with ties to San Francisco's Chinatown known as "Shrimp Boy," and Keith Jackson, Yee's campaign aide. The affidavit accuses Yee of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms.
Yee is also accused of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and cash payments to provide introductions, help a client get a contract and influence legislation. He or members of his campaign staff accepted at least $42,800 in cash or campaign contributions from undercover FBI agents in exchange for carrying out the agents' specific requests, the court documents allege.
Yee discussed helping the agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder-fired missiles, and explaining the entire process of acquiring them from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to bringing them to the U.S., according to the court document by FBI agent Emmanuel V. Pascua.
Yee said he was unhappy with his life and told the agent he wanted to hide out in the Philippines, according to the affidavit.

I am thinking mental illness is involved, leftism maybe
There has to be a Leslie Chow joke in here somewhere.
This isn’t hypocrisy but just creating higher market prices for his product.
maybe shrimp boy will meet bring out the gimp boy.
No, I’m thinking more ‘hiding in plain site’. Pedophiles and Democrap/Commies use this tactic quite successfully.
Our political class is full of filthy degenerates like this, but this guy just got sloppy.
Another Rat who believes that rules only apply to other people.
Here’s an interesting tidbit I picked up about this racist, hypocritical gun grabber:
“In 1992, Yee was arrested for the alleged shoplifting of a bottle of tanning oil from the KTA Superstore in Kona’s Keauhou Shopping Village. The case was not prosecuted, as Yee disappeared before he could be prosecuted.”
Says something about this charlatan’s character, doesn’t it?
They need to deport his naturalized ass back to China, as he’s basically been a filthy criminal his whole life.
So, the gun grabber was involved in arming a street gang? Sounds serious. When is the FBI going to bust Holder for Fast and Furious? Thanks DogByte6RER.
If you go to the link, there is not one mention of his political affiliation until the second page and it’s in a round about way. Imagine the screaming headlines if he had an R next to his name.
I love California, I’ve been here all my life but the PTB are determined to devastate the middle class and have themselves be the permanent rich rulers over us all.
Texas looks better and better every day but like locusts, the dems will move there and destroy their freedoms as well.
Anyone remember when a group was busted trying to smuggle Chinese full auto AK-47s into the us? Under the CLINTON administration.
This sounds like a Dem Redux.
Was that the one that a shipment landed in Oakland Port and no word from Diane Frankenstein?
BTTT
he put it down the front of his pants so theft may not have been the primary motive.
Not only is Yee anti-gun, he was behind a lot of the anti-smoking laws and ordinances in California, pushed ‘em hard — and what else he’s being charged with is importing massive amounts of cigarettes illegally!!
What a hypocrite! His photo should be put in the dictionary under the very definition of the word.
“he put it down the front of his pants so theft may not have been the primary motive.”
What do you think was the motive?
I always put items down my pants while shopping, doesn’t everyone?
