New York police are not calling it a knockout attack because the victim was not punched as they were in previous attacks, according to the Daily News. Weird. It doesn't count unless it uses a particular technique?
I'm assuming this elderly man was shoved down (probably from behind), since it says that he broke a tooth. So it's definitely the type of random physical assault on an unknown individual that the term "knock-out game" covers. Or do you actually have to be knocked out by a blow from the front in order to be a statistic?
