Romney still wrong about Russia, says Obama.
Speaking at a brief news conference in the Hague, President Obama said he's more worried about a loose nuke being detonated in Manhattan than he is about Russia:
"With respect to Mr. Romney's assertion that Russia is our number one geopolitical foe, the truth of the matter is that America has a whole lot of challenges," said the president.
"Russia is a regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neigbors, not out of strength, but out weakness.
"Ukraine has been a country which Russia had enormous influence for decades, since the break-up of the Soviet Union, and we have considerable influence on our neighbors, we generally don't need to invade them in order to have a strong cooperative relationship with them. The fact that Russia felt compelled to go in militarily and laid bear these violations of internationl law indicates less influence not more.
"So my response then continues to be what I believe today, which is: Russia's actions are a problem. They don't pose the number one national security threat to the United States. I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security with the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan," said Obama.

Every time O opens his mouth with some stupid thin skinned comment, I am rieminded of a "mean girl" from the 6th or 7th grade.

If that were to happen, NY will go GOP because most Obamanistas live in NYC.
One big advantage of a nuke exploding in Manhattan. It would destroy the NY banking syndicate that has maintained a stranglehold over the US economy throughout its history. We’d have a chance to rebuild the banking system with strong regional banking system, diffusing wealth and access to capital, instead of concentrating it in one location in the hands of “too big to fail” banks colluding with the central government.
If Bush and Paulson had allowed the corrupt New York banks to fail in 2008, we’d have been able to rebuild the banking system without the concentrations of money and power that lead to rule by the Wall Street banking syndicate.
Thank god the most viable targets are almost all Democratic strongholds. They will be the ones to pay for their moronic affirmative action president.
Romney’s answer was re: biggest geopolitical foe. He said that terrorism was our greatest security risk.
So what Obama did was yap long enough for people not to notice that he said a nuke in NYC was the nation’s greatest security risk.
He didn’t respond to the geopolitical foe question at all, but to suggest that Romney’s response to that was incorrect re: our immediate national security.
(Oh, and I’m no Romney fan.)

Wow. It is because of the weakness shown by Obama and the Europeans that Putin invaded Crimea and will invade Ukraine, and the Chinese doing the actions that they are doing in the Spartleys and the Sennikku islands.
It is not because Russia or China is weak that they are doing this.

Saw several Tweets in real time as O bumbled along. I cannot recall a sorrier performance by a President. I thought I was scared before. This fool has displayed his absolute cluelessness for the whole world.
They didn't talk about Russian history (or Austrian history) in Dope for Dopes 101 at Haaavaaad.
One small problem, it pretty much wipes out any chance of a Democratic ever being elected again, just due to demographics.
He’s upset that the Ukraine invasion is distracting from the military’s real mission of fighting against the weather.
Planting the seed of a nuke attack on Manhattan by a foreign power or terrorist, when he really plans a false-flag event to suspend the next election and stay president for more than 2 terms.

This guy is a fool in the highest order.
Most real Americans are more concerned with the loose nuke detonated in the White House in 2008 and 2012.
He’s concerned that it won’t detonate.
