America please DO NOT even consider this absurd proposition. Too many lefties up here. Especially in Quebec and Ontario. Canada is alot of things but not an addition to the US. There is no 2nd amendment up here and free speech is what progressives thinks it is. Stay as far away from this idea as possible.
If PEI gets two senators, Hamilton County, TN, should get two as weell.
but I REALY like their Generals.
And with all due respect to American FReepers, no thank you!
Form the comment, I’m glad you did.
no Generals? We Love You Guys and Girls!!!
I was just asking, is all.
I think there are real, and serious reasons we are two distinct countries, which should not be ignored.
I at the same time know, there are wider things keeping us together than pulling us apart.
I don’t know about the idea of a join, for many reasons, but it’s interesting anyway.
Thanks for your note.
yep, it is called sent back to schooling. Way ... Way down deep inside.
Here's one American who thinks the U.S. would ruin a lot of good things about Canada.
Is there a Canadian that isn’t a vegan?
May we have your Generals?
Only if you take Quebec, too. LOL.
Just looking for what is needed. Scares some, yes.
Ain’t no way no how that Canada wants what we’ve got. At least not now.
Canadians would have to learn how to spell.
They finally got rid of Justin Bieber.
who cares? They give and they take. Canada do you give?
Canadians are insufferable liberal freaks, well, except for Mark Steyn. They’ve always relied on the US for protection, so they can afford to strut around proclaiming how peaceful they are.
I was at an event with some of them recently who told me they had gotten all the “best” of the US when the draft dodgers moved up there. All they really wanted now was for pot to be legalized thorough out the US so they could start selling their crop from BC. They were also incredibly prissy pro-gay, pro-Islamic Anglophiles. Very strange, and we don’t need them.
I don’t think Canada wants to be US.
And I don’t want to give up the Constitution.
I like the idea that, for both of us, Canadians and Americans, there is a large English-speaking neighbor next door to flee to if things get unbearable where you are. We won’t all fit in Belize.
