Instead, Rand Paul is trying to build the political political support needed so that he can defeat conservatism within the GOP and make it a rino/libertarian party, and totally eliminate the Reagan wing.

I think Rush is way off on this one. Not a single one of these kids will ever vote for Paul, or any Republican….and certainly not enough to swing California. This was a one issue hot button…..among a few hundred kids. Totally meaningless….as far as prez politics is concerned. A Fools errand.
It is more than the intelligence community that is drunk with power. And if that is all that it takes to get elected then this nation is in worse trouble than anyone knows.
If Paul can manage to shut down the Federal Reserve, that would be a great achievement to restoring limited government in the USA - after that, everything else would secondary.
I will be voting for Rand Paul.

I don’t think freepers brasp how many kids want to vote for the libertarian thing. My daughter is in high school and she said all the kids wanted to vote for ron paul. Yeah, the kids don’t understand what libertarianism is but they will vote for it. I love it because this is the only path republicans have to get moron voters on our side. For this reason alone I am for rand paul.

Limbaugh sat stoned faced in front of the EIB golden mic for 8 stinking years during Bush, with nary a word about this history changing violent illegal invasion of our county, while his buddy made American citizenship all but pointless while celebrating cinco de mayo up in the White House.
Going to the belly of the beast and finding a single issue of common ground is a good strategy for starters.
But then Paul needs to pivot to other issues using the same principles of liberty that were found in the single common issue.
Doesn't look like Paul did that.
Rand Paul is the only candidate that would sign the laws necessary to limit the power of the President. We need him for that reason - I’m voting for him.
