If former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is going to run for president in 2016, his campaign is going to have to run through the Forza coffee shop in Parkland, Wash. Thats where one of Huckabees many parolees, Maurice Clemmons, assassinated four Lakewood police officers in 2009, depriving nine children of a parent and setting a national perception that Huckabee abused his powers of clemency.
Huckabee told The New York Times Jonathan Martin (the other Jonathan Martin) that he views a 2016 presidential bid as a real opportunity for me. The Washington Post quickly called Huckabee a long shot because he is a disinterested fundraiser who has credibility problems with the GOPs fiscal conservatives.
Hes had those problems for a while, but still came in first in the Iowa caucuses in 2008. But back then he didnt have a Maurice Clemmons problem.

He *is* a really good speaker, quick on the quip and almost likable even no matter how much what he is saying disgusts a person.
Can’t stand him, of course; to me he kind of rolls everything bad about both the Democratic and Republican parties into one phoney pile of ... words.. but as a campaigner? Darn good.
That is the leaster of the Hucksters problems
"Holiday wishes from the trough!"
If not for the FOX gig, America would have forgotten this dope from Hope.
BOR, the Huckster and Rove. I am seeing a pattern.
Thank you.
Santorum has entirely too much good will on FR. He's used his family's travails to disguise the lies he made to his constituents over the years.
What conservative was even running, if not Santorum?
Huckabee hasn’t got what is needed.
Which son is the gay dog-killer?
Santorum was a big-government social conservative.
Basically, a non-fat version of the Huckster.
Give me Cruz, or failing that, Paul.
I just think if I had to choose between Santorum or Romney, I pick Rick. In 201y, go Cruz!!!
Probably, but I don’t pretend to defend the field of crappy candidates we had last election.
I can’t remember if I actually liked any of them.
Does the Club for Growth PAC look at social issues when considering a candidate endorsement?
“No, our focus is only on economic issues. A candidates stance on social issues does not impact the Clubs PACs decision in whether or not to make an endorsement.”
I prefer to have a candidate who cares about social issues plus the second amendment Gov. Huckabee does care about social issues and the second amendment. I have not decided
who I want to support but,the candidate of my choice MUST support social issues and the second amendment.
