Retired USAF general says Malaysia 370 may have landed in Pakistan

Lt. General Thomas McInerney USAF (ret) is a man to be reckoned with, and he has gone out on a limb citing sources he cannot reveal for his assertion that Malaysia Airlines 370 was taken by a criminal act, that the United States government knows more than it is revealing, and that the airplane could well be on the ground on Pakistan.

When it involves regimes like Iran and Pakistan, I have no doubt that the US will treat very lightly, even help with the cover-up. Because if the truth ever came out, it would be a clear act of war and we’d have to actually do something.

Watched the segment — it wasn’t conjecture. He was confident the aircraft is in Pakistan. [Let’s see, wasn’t it the lying, dirtbag Paks who sheltered Bin Laden for 10 years?]

I am skeptical of any theory involving an Asia overland route, too many radars and people that would have spotted it.

My goofy conpsiracy theory is pilot went west over Andaman islands, turned south at Maldvies and ditched plane off Annu atoll where he is rescued and flew onward from Gan airport.

Motive: some government wanted the 20 passengers working on electronic warfare/radar defense dead.

I would expect that we have pretty much constant satellite coverage of Pakistan given the unstable nature and nuclear capability it has. Hard to think we would miss a 777 landing there and by now would have vetted all incoming flights. I think I'll wait until there is hard evidence before believing this or any other theory. I don't think China would be very happy with Pakistan should this be what happened. Would the Paks risk that? I doubt it. Would some terrorist group in Pakistan? Sure, but without the Pakistan government knowing. Very slim chance.

The Pak government has at least a plurality of AQ sympathizer types, that is why OBL hid there for so long.

-——a clear act of war——

The act of war would not involve America however. The pirated craft would be lost by Malaysia. It would be up to Kuala Lumpur to initiate the retaliation.

Pakistan is SEATO nation, Malaysia is not. America is actually on the side of Pakistan, not Maylasia

“The Pak government has at least a plurality of AQ sympathizer types ...”

And a whole lot of them are in the ISI - Pak Security Service. Easy to see how the ISI would be able to silence any radar reports about the plane, if the op were either Pak or Iranian.

He stated that within 24 ~ 48 hrs there would be some sort of announcement saying such.

This has always been the most plausible explanation to me.

If the plane had exploded in mid air, satellites would have seen it. If a plane that large had crashed in the ocean a multitude of stuff that does not sink would have been spotted with all the eyes in that area.

I would be disappointed with our current administration if they were to be honest with the public.

Hmmmm.

Technically speaking, if there was enough fuel on board to get to ________ then the plane may have landed in _______.

The question becomes, how do you hide a 777 from public observation and from satellite view? You need a hangar, a very large hangar, and you need total control of the airfield. You also need a suitably long runway and taxiways/tarmac that is thick enough to support a 777’s weight.

If that plane landed somewhere, then a government is involved. The only governments that I can imagine going down that path are NK and Iran. Given the number of Chinese nationals onboard, I can't imagine either one doing it to get the airplane, as using the airplane later would bring all hell down on them from the West and the East.

So what gain would there be in taking the people/cargo on the plane?

The act of war would not involve America however.

Any country with national on board could consider it an act of war. Consider the Lusitania.

If it successfully ditched, it would just sink without a trace. But then you'd have to assume that all of the passengers were already dead.

Since day 1 I’ve had a hard time believing the US doesn’t know what happened to this plane.

Those 20 Freescape employees were my original theory too.

Then I was dissuaded here by freepers who knew the field.

I do think the plane made it to either Somalia, Pakistan or Iran.

“May” have landed in Pakistan? So in other words his sources don’t know anything for sure either.

It wasn't our plane. About 99% of the people weren't from the U.S. Why would we have to do something?

This is the Last Ping Corridor and it is nowhere near Pakistan.

Is the General telling us that he does not believe in the Last Ping???
