Good strong jolt and some “rock and roll” here outside of Los Angeles.

You got this thread up really quickly!!

Haven’t heard the news yet, my dogs are going crazy. Hope that wasn’t a warm up for something much stronger....

And, if it does hit, please God, let me be home with my family and animals and not caught out on the road.

And, it’s time to check the earthquake supplies...water...check...dog food...check...beer to keep DH calm....check...

As Bob Hope said once about California Earthquakes:

“It’s the San Gabriel Mountains doing the funky chicken!!”

Visiting my sister here in Marina del Rey. Felt quite sharply here. Initial jolt, then sharper second jolt.

Twitter reaction ranges from “Holy crap! That was the longest, most disturbing #earthquake I’ve ever felt in L.A. I got seasick. Any idea on the magnitude?” to “4.7, we call that a foot massage”.

Does Daryl Hannah have a tendency to freak out during quakes?

What happens when S.F. gets the next BIG ONE? You know they will expect those millionaires to be mailed out.
