KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- A Malaysia Airlines plane sent signals to a satellite for four hours after the aircraft went missing, an indication that it was still flying for hundreds of miles or more, a U.S. official briefed on the search said Thursday.
Six days after the plane with 239 people aboard disappeared, Malaysian authorities expanded their search westward toward India, saying the aircraft may have flown for several hours after its last contact with the ground shortly after takeoff from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing.

My guess it was hijacked by either the pilots, actually diverted, or by some rag head bunch, and is lost at sea due to a fuel shortage. Without knowing the destination, it will be difficult to surmise where it is albeit they should know how much fuel was supposed to be on board. I hope someone checked the fuel supply for where they departed to ensure it was not refueled.
Ditto. Got the feeling this plane is sitting somewhere, fully loaded with some really bad stuff, and waiting for the green light.
And whose “facts” will you believe? Every hour there are different facts out there. The oil rig worker saw the plane go down in flames. The plane flew on for hours after losing signal. The plane turned back. They found debris. Wrong debris. They found an oil slick. Oil slick not from plane.
Until they actually find the plane, there are no “facts”.
“This is some entity that wants a delivery system but cannot pay for it.”

I went on Google maps and checked it out. The travel time to Iran was shown as twice that to bejing...... 13 hours vs 6.8.
A rough cut eyeball guess for the same distance to Bejing was around the Paki/India border. India is the most likely land mass just because it is so big. But India does not really make sense.
There's another story out there that says a number of family members of passengers had tried calling their cell phones. The phones rang then abruptly hung up....
This whole thing is un-friggin’ believable!
What’s worse, this may be a “dry-run” for something VERY SINISTER......
This reminds me of the story of the pro golfer and wife. They were on a Lear jet and all aboard passed out and the plane flew into Canada until it ran out of fuel and crashed. This happened about 15-20 years ago I beleive.
Okay that was pro golfer Payne Stewart who died in 1999.
Iran says we kidnapped it. Interesting that they felt the need to comment at all. Perhaps telling.
