Many have read with outrage the story of 18 year old Jordan Wiser; a young man whose car was searched without permission at his vocational school, resulting in his expulsion, arrest, felony indictment, imprisonment, and separation from his beloved, terminally ill grandfather.
The prosecutor in this case, Harold E Specht, Jr. has been quoted saying the reason for Wisers arrest and felony prosecution centers on the discovery of a four-inch pocketknife, which was locked in the trunk, inside his EMT kit a duffel bag of young Jordans car.
The Blaze has a good story on the events surrounding the search, arrest and prosecution of Jordan Wiser here.

I think Harold E Specht, Jr. can kiss his election goodbye.
IF he can’t exercise any common sense in this case, why would the voters trust him to be a judge?
There is little worse than an ambitious prosecutor.
9 times out of ten it is about their record. Innocent or guilty a loss on their record is a blemish and cannot be a part of any prosecutors portfolio!
I just hope the voters are well-informed about this case. It is outrageous.
I hope this turns into a Mike Nifong moment for Harold E Specht, Jr.
this prosecutor should not be made a judge, he should be made an inmate!

I’m guessing you’re right. “Hardline-law-and-order” voters (e.g. Freepers) tend to possess more common sense, than to prosecute this case. They can also get riled up about the police-state tactics.
I was looking for the [Semi-Satire News] marker... and couldn’t find it.
