North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been elected to the country's rubber-stamp parliament with a unanimous vote from his district, state media say.
Mr Kim's 100% approval from his Mount Paektu constituency reflects the "absolute support" of people in the country, KCNA news agency says.
The elections for the Supreme People's Assembly on Sunday had just one name on the ballot for each district.
It was the first time such a poll had been held since Mr Kim assumed power.

North Korea's Communist dictator won his seat in the country's rubber-stamp Parliament with 100% of the vote counted.
His name was the only one on the ballot. No one it should be added, even dared to vote against the acclaimed Dear Leader.
They’re better than Stalin’s Soviet Union.
The vote was usually 99% of in favor of the Party’s candidates. Stalin could tolerate token opposition for show.
Kim Jong-Un eliminated all his opponents.
Who knew North Korea had elections much less than an elected show Parliament?
After all the Dear Leader’s word there is absolute law.
Humm...in certain congressional districts Obama got 100% of the vote....not all the people who voted, but all the eligible voters....
Not a single vote for Romney or even a write in candidate...
The difference between the Soviet Union and North Korea, is in the Soviet Union, the Party ruled. Even Stalin felt compelled to act in its name.
In North Korea its exactly the reverse. The Dear Leader rules and the Party is subordinate to him. The Party acts on behalf of the Dear Leader.
I can understand learning to obey from mom and dad at the supper table ... oh .. sorry ... there isn't one ....
anyway, I can understand a child being taught and trained ... but the human soul God gives each and every one of His creation ... how can you become a man and not yearn for freedom ?
And Democracy, American-style--if the Democrats can manage to pull it off. It's their dream.
North Korea’s regime is not really Communist; its an Asian family monarchy combined with the worst features of the Nazi hero worship of Hitler.
In a totalitarian society, people think the authorities are always right. Its just well knowing the fate awaiting you if you cross the line. And in North Korea, even the elite live in constant fear.
Terror is what sustains the regime along of course with boundless love of the demi-god ruler.
Even Saddam knew enough to win these things by 99% to at least try to look legit. The only guy that bests Kim Jong-Un is Obama who routinely takes 101% of a black district.
It reminds me of the only two rules that matter. Rule number one: The authorities are always right. Rule number two: In the unlikely event the authorities are wrong, rule number one applies.
Amazing! The people must love him! ;)
In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for Romney.
Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote.
"The Worst That I Have Seen & It Was State Wide In The Pivotal Swing State Of FL. State Wide Had An Average Voter Turnout Of An Unbelievable 141%. Every County In Florida Had A Mnimum Of 114% Voter Turnout. The Nations Average Voter Turnout Is Around 70% At Best. One County In FL Had A Turnout Of 182.35%."
disgusting
someone needs to take him out and I guess the Chinese aren’’t up to it
North Korea is simply sinful man brought to his ultimate conclusion.
Man (sinful, corrupt, rebellious) wants to become a god, and in North Korea their leaders have "succeeded." God is tossed out, and man becomes a deity.<> When people from the outside look in, they cannot imagine why the citizens there do not revolt, but we have no idea the sheer BRUTALITY that is in existence there. Three generations of families are rounded up, and even children are tortured, maimed, raped, and murdered within the prison system. It is hellish.

Very true.
FL has voter ID. No photo ID and matching registration = no voting.
I may be wrong but I seem to remember obama got close to 100% of the vote in many counties of Ohio, at least I think it was Ohio.
...that is always what communism brings.
